The Biden show is being exposed. There’s no more hiding his frailty.
And now an Obama aide has pulled back the curtain on President Biden and the truth is appalling.
In a recent episode of The Weekly Show with Jon Stewart, host Jon Stewart confronted CNN political commentator Bakari Sellers over his assertion that President Joe Biden’s primary issue is his age rather than cognitive decline. This discussion took place against a backdrop of increasing calls from Democrats for Biden to withdraw from the presidential race due to concerns raised after his debate performance against former President Donald Trump.
Stewart argued that Sellers was not being forthright by attributing Biden’s difficulties solely to his age. He insisted that cognitive decline was a more significant concern. Stewart stated, “I think that you are soft-selling the more fundamental aspect of people viewing somebody who, I’ll be perfectly honest with you, I don’t know of a job interview that you could have gone on and delivered the performance that was delivered by Joe Biden and gotten a job. And I’m not talking about the presidency; I’m talking about like cashier at Home Depot, like a job that you would not think, ‘Okay, that is the hardest job in the entire world.’”
Sellers countered by highlighting Biden’s accomplishments during his first term, suggesting that Stewart’s focus on the debate performance disregarded the president’s achievements. “The only problem with that, Jon, the only problem with framing it as such is the fact that you discount everything that he’s accomplished in the first three and a half years,” Sellers retorted.
Stewart, however, emphasized that Biden is currently campaigning for another term and should be evaluated on his current capabilities rather than his past achievements. “But nothing happens in a vacuum … My friends on the left, we want to only magnify what we saw at the debate, which is fine, I get it. We’re talking about age,” Sellers said. “But I’m also talking about the accomplishments prior to and the threat that is right down the road … We do ourselves a disservice by saying, ‘Our guy is old.’ We know that. He shuffles. We know that.”
Stewart insisted that the issue at hand was not merely age, but cognitive decline. “It’s not old … Bakari. It is cognitive decline. It’s not just age; it’s cognitive decline,” he said.
Obama Aide Jon Favreau Calls It Like It Is: Joe Biden Isn’t Fit For Office
Former Obama aide Jon Favreau added to the discussion, suggesting that even if Biden is experiencing cognitive decline, his inability to communicate effectively is a significant issue for a presidential candidate.
Stewart echoed this sentiment, saying, “Or reassure us that here’s how we operate in that environment. But to suggest that this discounts three and a half years, it doesn’t. But it does give you a window into the next four. And if you look at his performance in 2020 versus his performance in 2024, there is an inexorable decline. It’s undeniable. So what I don’t understand is, okay, fine, he stays, but deal with it head-on. Stop pretending, stop gaslighting.”
Sellers agreed that discussing Biden’s cognitive ability is valid but suggested the focus should be on the threat posed by Trump, whom he described as “a [expletive] monster.” Favreau supported this point, stating, “That’s what we’re worried about. We’re worried about the monster.”
Swing State Voter Reactions To The Joe Biden Debacle
Before the presidential debate, Joe Biden was already in trouble and liable for losing swing states like Michigan and Wisconsin that are absolutely critical to the Democrat Party in the 2024 presidential election. Michigan, in particular, was in jeopardy well before the debate because of the serious disapproval Joe Biden is experiencing with respect to his foreign policy failures and mixed messaging.
In Wisconsin, blue collar voters who are historically Democrat voters are shifting in droves to voice support for Donald Trump instead. Given Joe Biden barely won the state in 2020, any small shift in voting behavior will hand the state to Donald Trump this cycle.

Not only that, but now there are reports that states like New York and New Jersey are in play for Donald Trump, which would have been unthinkable four years ago or eight years ago.
Much of the Democrat establishment trying to hold on to power and continue to prop up Joe Biden as the puppet he is are pointing to polls saying that he is in a toss up election against Donald Trump. They point to FiveThirtyEight’s national survey averages that show Donald Trump and Joe Biden basically neck and neck.
That’s not telling the whole story, though. Donald Trump, in those same extact surveys in 2020, was down 9 to 10 points at this time in the 2020 election cycle. He’s now up 1 to 4 points over Joe Biden. Meaning, the election, as it stands, is extremely in favor of Donald Trump right now.
The longer the Democrats keep Joe Biden around, the more it favors Donald Trump no doubt. Conservatives are grinning ear-to-ear right now, watching the Democrats crumble under the weight of a cold civil war.
