President Trump is putting his life on the line to declassify these documents

There’s already been two known attempts on Trump’s life. A third one may be on the way.

Because President Trump is putting his life on the line to declassify these documents for the American people.

Americans were horrified when they learned that President Trump had survived an assassination attempt by the figurative skin of his teeth by just barely turning his head at the exact right moment when he was shot at during the July Butler, Pennsylvania rally. How this was allowed to happen is still not clear and there has not been accountability for this failure as there should have been. The American people are left to speculate.

It’s hard for most Americans to walk away from that tragedy and assume anything less than the idea that there are people who want Donald Trump out of the picture and gone for good. This makes sense considering he’s a real mover and a shaker for the Washington, D.C. establishment, which ultimately puts a target on his back. The Washington, D.C. bureaucratic machine is designed to resist anyone who wants to change it for the better.

President Trump, though, isn’t letting that get him down. He’s powering through with his agenda to reform the federal government and provide more transparency to the public. One of the big moves he wants to accomplish sooner rather than later is declassifying documents that have been kept locked away from the American people for decades. Like those concerning the assassination of John F. Kennedy and Martin Luther King Jr.

Trump Admin Directs Congress To Investigate Mass Declassification Of Documents

The House Oversight Committee recently introduced a new task force focused on transparency, aimed at making public information about some of the most significant and controversial moments in American history. This includes episodes such as the political assassinations of the 1960s and other critical incidents during the Trump and Biden administrations. The task force’s mission is to secure declassification of files that could shed light on various impactful and hotly debated events, from the Trump-Russia investigation to the chaotic U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan.

Rep. Brandon Gill, R-Texas, a member of the new panel, emphasized the importance of transparency and accountability during an interview with the John Solomon Reports podcast. “What all of this is about is about transparency and accountability,” Gill stated. He continued, acknowledging that critics, particularly from the Left, have accused Republicans of undermining faith in governmental institutions. However, he posed an important question: “Do these institutions deserve to have faith put in them?” According to Gill, the task force’s goal is to restore “real accountability and real faith” in the federal government. “A good way to do that is to allow the American people to see things that they’ve been wondering about and have legitimate concerns over,” he added.

The formation of the Declassification and Transparency Task Force was spearheaded by House Oversight Chairman James Comer. In his statement, Comer highlighted the need for greater transparency, saying, “For too long, the federal government has kept information of public interest classified and the American people are demanding greater transparency. This secrecy has sowed distrust in our institutions.” The task force is designed to build on President Donald Trump’s executive order that directed the declassification of files related to the political assassinations of President John F. Kennedy, his brother Robert F. Kennedy, and civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr.

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, R-Fla., has been tapped to lead the task force. In her statement, Luna expressed that the federal government had long withheld crucial information from the public, pointing to the failure to fully disclose information surrounding the assassinations of significant figures like President Kennedy and Reverend King. She emphasized the importance of providing Americans with the answers they have been waiting for: “It is time to give Americans the answers they deserve, which is why I am honored to lead this bipartisan task force that seeks truth and transparency.” Luna also vowed that the task force would seek to “restore trust through transparency” moving forward.

While the assassination files are expected to be a primary focus, the task force is also poised to examine a variety of other topics that remain shrouded in secrecy, from the Epstein investigations to files related to the 9/11 tragedy. Here are some of the cases that are being targeted for declassification:

Russia Collusion Hoax: Despite some declassifications, many documents related to the now-debunked Russia collusion investigation involving the Trump campaign remain hidden. Despite Trump’s pledge to declassify all relevant documents after the conclusion of the special counsel probe, key records remain sealed. Notably, a compilation by Just the News identified 40 batches of documents still kept secret, including materials related to requests by Obama administration officials to unmask Trump campaign members’ communications, as well as information about the FBI’s interactions with Christopher Steele, the source of the infamous dossier.

Trump Assassination Attempts: In the wake of two assassination attempts on Donald Trump in 2024, little new information about the suspects has been released. One of the suspects, Thomas Crooks, attempted to k*ll Trump at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. Crooks opened fire with a rifle, injuring Trump and others, before being shot by law enforcement. The FBI later found bomb-making materials and encrypted communications on his devices. The second suspect, Ryan Routh, had a criminal record and was linked to pro-Ukraine activities. Following his arrest, numerous questions remain unanswered about his motivations and connections.

Epstein Investigation: During the 2024 election campaign, Trump indicated that he might push for the release of Jeffrey Epstein’s client list. Epstein, a financier who was charged with s*x trafficking minors, was found dead in a holding cell in an apparent suicide. The failure to properly monitor Epstein and the malfunctioning security cameras at the time of his death have raised suspicions about the official narrative.

Complete After-Action Report on Biden’s Afghanistan Withdrawal: After the chaotic U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan in 2021, much of the Pentagon’s after-action review remains classified. While a version of the review was made public in 2023, key files used to compile the report are still withheld. These “After-Action Review files” contain materials that could provide a fuller picture of the missteps and challenges faced during the operation.

Assessments of 2020 Pandemic Origins: The origins of the 2020 pandemic continue to be a subject of intense debate, with intelligence agencies offering shifting assessments. Rep. Luna’s task force will seek to declassify documents that address these origins, particularly the lab leak theory. Despite earlier efforts to suppress such theories, evidence has emerged suggesting that a lab leak may indeed be the source. These revelations have sparked further scrutiny of public health officials, such as Dr. Anthony Fauci, who were accused of suppressing alternative explanations.

Files from the 9/11 Investigations: The aftermath of the 9/11 attacks remains clouded in secrecy, with a large portion of the investigation’s documents still classified for national security reasons. One key area of focus for many is the potential involvement of Saudi Arabia. The 9/11 Commission’s report, which concluded in 2004, is said to contain thousands of pages of records that remain sealed. Both lawmakers and victims’ families have pushed for full transparency, particularly in regards to Saudi Arabia’s alleged role in the attacks.

The establishment of this new task force represents a significant effort to answer long-standing questions and provide clarity on some of the most important events in modern American history. With transparency and accountability at its core, the panel’s work could have profound implications for restoring public trust in governmental institutions, shedding light on episodes of national importance, and delivering the answers that many have been waiting for.
