There was yet another attempt on Trump’s life. Luckily, he survived.
But this state Sheriff has provided a sobering update on the third Trump assassination attempt.
Over the weekend, there was apparently yet another attempt on Donald Trump’s life as a Las Vegas citizen was arrested for trying to smuggle firearms into a Trump rally in Coachella, California. He even tried to pass off as a member of the media with fake press credentials.
He was found in illegal possession of a shotgun, a loaded handgun, as well as a pre-loaded high-capacity magazine for his handguns. Thankfully, the man was not able to get any shots off or implement his plan at all as he was arrested before the rally started at a rally security checkpoint.
Oddly, the vehicle he drove even had a fake license plate. Inside the vehicle, the local authorities found multiple passports belonging to different people, as well as a number of different driver’s licenses all with different names on them. The conclusion seemed to be that the man was there to plan on assassinating Donald Trump during the rally.
A California sheriff reaffirmed earlier statements on Monday, asserting that deputies who apprehended a man with multiple firearms at a Trump rally prevented a third assassination attempt on the former president within the past year.
On Saturday, deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department arrested 49-year-old Vem Miller on gun charges at a checkpoint near the Coachella rally where former President Donald Trump was speaking. Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco told Fox and Friends co-host Brian Kilmeade that his deputies performed their duty.
“In our minds, we did,” Bianco said in response to Kilmeade’s question about whether they thwarted an assassination attempt on the former president. “That’s what we were set up there for. We were set up to stop and prevent anyone from coming on the grounds, like happened the last time, and it worked. You know, there’s a lot of speculation that, you know, he’s just an innocent person, and he very well could be with his intentions to not — he had no intention to harm the president.”

“But out of the, you know, between the 25 and the 50, depending on the numbers that you are hearing, thousand people that came to the rally, only one brought guns, and so we were thankful that our deputy found him and he was removed before the president even got there,” Bianco added.
Trump has survived two other assassination attempts in recent months. In September, a Secret Service agent thwarted a potential assassination attempt on Trump by firing shots at Ryan Wesley Routh, who was allegedly lurking near Trump International Golf Club while the former president was on the course. As most everyone already knows, Trump was also shot in the right ear during a campaign rally in Pennsylvania on July 13.
Bianco further explained why Miller was released despite the arrest, noting that the charges were only misdemeanors.
“For the rest of the country, it’s hard to believe that when we arrest people, they don’t stay in jail, but that’s a fact of life here in California, and those crimes that we arrested him for were misdemeanors, and we do not hold misdemeanors in custody,” Bianco explained to Kilmeade.
“So, he was given a citation to appear at a later date, and I have been told, I don’t know the date, but I think it’s after January, it’s after the new year. So, we have been dealing with bad law enforcement policy for decades in California, and unfortunately, the whole world sees it now.”
Americans Still On Edge Just Weeks Before Election
So many Americans all over the nation are seriously concerned about Donald Trump’s safety. It seems as though every weekend there’s a chance to turn on the news and find out Donald Trump was shot and k*lled at the hands of a psychopath or an Iranian covert operative.
Should Donald Trump win, though, there will be continued concerns for his life for the entire time he’s in office. Iran has already made it abundantly clear that they want Donald Trump dead and that their plan to k*ll him is a top priority. They view him as a threat to their terrorist operations that have been booming for the last few years.
