Sudden rush to the hospital sends the White House into a panic

Everyone knows the health scandals plaguing the Biden administration. Now it has all come to a head.

Because a sudden rush to the hospital sends the White House into a panic.

U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin has been hospitalized since the first day of 2024, and while Pentagon authorities have not specified when he would be released, they have refused to reveal why he was admitted in the first place.

Austin was taken to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center last Monday for problems from an elective medical procedure, according to Pentagon press secretary Maj. Gen. Pat Ryder.

Ryder told Fox News on Sunday that Austin had an elective medical operation at Walter Reed on December 22, 2023. Austin was on leave during the treatment and returned home the next day.

However, on January 1, he began experiencing “severe pain,” and he was sent back to Walter Reed and put into the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

Austin was admitted to the ICU to ensure prompt access to his medical needs, but he remained there due to privacy and hospital space concerns, according to Ryder.

Ryder told Fox News that he couldn’t reveal any more details on Austin’s ailments due to privacy concerns.

Austin returned to work from the hospital on Friday, and according to Ryder, he is healing well and in high spirits.

“Since resuming his duties on Friday evening, the Secretary has received operational updates and has provided necessary guidance to his team,” Ryder said in a statement.

“He has full access to required communications capabilities and continues to monitor DoD’s day-to-day operations worldwide.”

Austin met with President Biden on Saturday and has been in communication with Deputy Secretary of Defense Kathleen Hicks, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. CQ Brown, Jr., and his senior staff, according to Ryder.

Ryder stated that there is no set timeline for Austin’s release from the hospital.

He was also unable to say whether Austin will hold in-person press conferences during the following week.

What gives?

These guys aren’t Navy SEALs on a clandestine mission that can’t be leaked.

They are public servants, beholden to the American people.

We have a right to know if those who wield unspeakable amounts of power are still fit for the job.

And that’s not even touching Biden’s constant health scares or Americans’ complete lack of trust in his ability to serve.
