Democrats are freaking out. They are desperately trying to salvage their political agenda.
And now the DNC was just put on blast for this truly shameful display.
Conservatives on social media are having a field day mocking the Democratic National Committee’s latest spectacle — an embarrassing leadership vote filled with “beyond parody” moments. Critics argue it’s further proof that Democrats have “learned absolutely nothing” from their devastating 2024 losses.
On Saturday, the DNC elected Minnesota Democrat Party leader Ken Martin as its new chair, after eight candidates scrambled to replace Jaime Harrison. This comes after the party suffered a crushing defeat in November, losing the White House and Senate while failing to retake the House. But rather than rethinking their disastrous policies, the DNC appears to be doubling down on the same radical playbook that cost them the election.
Over the weekend, conservatives lit up social media, highlighting just how out of touch the party has become. Among the most mocked moments was the election of Left-wing activist David Hogg as one of the DNC’s three vice chairs. Hogg, best known for pushing extreme gun control measures, co-founded March for Our Lives after the 2018 Parkland school shooting and has built a reputation for spewing far-Left rhetoric.
“DNC Vice Chair David Hogg has some legitimately INSANE views that are wildly out of step with the American people. Good to see that the Democrat Party has learned absolutely nothing,” conservative communicator Steve Guest posted to X.
Fresh off his new role, Hogg took the stage in Maryland to boast that Democrats would put Republicans “on the defense” in the coming days.
“After Parkland, our country was in a similar moment – where we had a Republican trifecta in Washington,” the 24-year-old said during the DNC election. “We went on the offense, put the Republicans on the defense, and we won. That’s what we need to do right now.”
Hogg then delivered a profanity-laced declaration of Democratic defiance. “We’re going to show people that the reason people should vote for us isn’t just because we’re not Republicans – it’s because we’re damn Democrats. We give a s—,” he ranted. “And we deliver. Now it’s time to rebuild the party and to rethink the way we’ve been doing things.”

But if this weekend was any indication, “rethinking” is the last thing Democrats are doing. Instead, they showcased more of the same radical identity politics that voters overwhelmingly rejected.
During the hours-long vote, outgoing DNC chair Jaime Harrison made sure to emphasize the party’s obsession with gender quotas, announcing that elections must be “gender-balanced,” even when a non-binary candidate is in the running — a move that drew widespread backlash from conservatives.
DNC official demands the DNC elect a nonbinary person for a leadership position.
They still don't understand why they lost.

“We have an amazing group of new officers,” Harrison said. He then launched into a convoluted explanation of how the DNC must balance gender representation: “Our rules specify that when we have a non-binary candidate or officer, the non-binary individual is counted as neither male nor female, and the remaining six offices must be gender balanced with the results of the previous four elections.”
The bizarre virtue-signaling didn’t stop there. Before Saturday’s vote, the eight candidates vying for DNC leadership took part in a Georgetown University forum co-hosted by MSNBC, where they dutifully blamed Kamala Harris’ election loss on “racism and misogyny.”
“So, I’m going to have a show of hands. How many of you believe that racism and misogyny played a role in Vice President Harris’ defeat?” MSNBC’s Jonathan Capehart asked.
Every candidate raised their hand in agreement, prompting Capehart to quip, “That’s good. You all passed.”
Republicans wasted no time mocking the moment. Senator Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) pounced, predicting that the GOP will expand its majority in the midterms.
As if the spectacle wasn’t already absurd enough, the event featured multiple instances of Democratic leaders breaking into song. Dr. Quintessa Hathaway, a candidate for DNC chair, belted out a dramatic rendition of “You fight on, when the government is doing you wrong, you fight on” during Thursday’s forum. She followed it up with another performance ahead of Saturday’s vote, singing, “We shall overcome.”
Harrison also got in on the act, serenading attendees with Stevie Wonder’s “Happy Birthday.”
The performative theatrics didn’t end there. DNC members made sure to include a virtue-signaling acknowledgment that the United States was “built on indigenous lands” before moving forward with their vote.
Meanwhile, Ken Martin, the newly elected chair, wasted no time declaring his party’s all-out war on Trump and the Republican Party.
“We have one team, one team, the Democratic Party,” Martin proclaimed after securing victory. “The fight is for our values. The fight is for working people. The fight right now is against Donald Trump and the billionaires who bought this country.”
“We need to go on offense,” he added. “We’re going to go out there and take this fight to Donald Trump and the Republicans.”
Fox News Digital reached out to the DNC on Sunday for comment on the negative backlash over the weekend’s cringe-worthy event, but unsurprisingly, the committee had nothing to say.
If this was supposed to be a “fresh start” for the Democratic Party, it’s clear they’re marching straight down the same failed path — one that American voters have already rejected.
