The DOJ blindsided Hunter Biden with one report and now he’s panicking

The Biden family’s goose is cooked. There is no escape this time.

And the DOJ blindsided Hunter Biden with one report and now he’s panicking.

Many conservatives have been watching the myriad investigations into Hunter Biden and Joe’s alleged crimes with bated breath.

It seems all too obvious that there is enough evidence to convict not only Hunter but the president himself.

Now a major announcement has completely changed the game for the Biden family.

US Attorney General Merrick Garland stated on Friday that the Department of Justice has awarded “special counsel” status to the US attorney investigating President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden.

According to ABC News, Delaware U.S. Attorney David Weiss, who was appointed by former President Donald Trump, asked Garland earlier this week to be appointed special counsel, and Garland accepted.

“On Tuesday of this week, Mr. Weiss advised me that in his judgment, his investigation has reached a stage at which he should continue his work as a Special Counsel, and he asked to be so appointed,” Garland said in a statement.

”Upon considering his request, as well as the extraordinary circumstances relating to this matter, I have concluded it is in the public interest to appoint him as Special Counsel. This appointment confirms my commitment to provide Mr. Weiss all the resources he requests.”

The appointment, according to Garland, “reaffirms” to the public that Weiss “has the authority he needs to conduct a thorough investigation and to continue to take the steps he deems appropriate independently, based only on the facts and the law.”

“As Special Counsel, he will continue to have the authority and responsibility that he has exercised previously to oversee the investigation and decide where, when, and whether to file charges,” Garland added.

“The Special Counsel will not be subject to the day-to-day supervision of any official of the Department, but he must comply with the regulations, procedures, and policies of the Department.”

According to Garland, the appointment “affords the prosecutors, agents, and analysts working on this matter the ability to proceed with their work expeditiously, and to make decisions indisputably guided only by the facts and the law.”

It’s an interesting development because you would think Biden’s DOJ would do anything to protect his interests.

But some have raised two possible scenarios that could play to Joe’s advantage.

The first, and most likely, is that the game is rigged anyway. Hunter will be exonerated at the end despite mountains of evidence – much like Hillary Clinton with her emails.

We’ve seen it before, so there’s no reason to doubt that it will happen again.

The second option, though, is that Joe is willing to sacrifice a pawn to save a queen.

If Hunter can be convicted and slapped with a decent sentence, he can act as if his judiciary is unbiased and only looking at the facts.

The upshot for Joe? People forget that he took bribes from Hunter’s “business associates.”

Only time will tell.
