The truth behind Kamala Harris endangering Americans is finally revealed

As much as she tries to pretend she wants to protect Americans, her actions paint a different picture. She can’t escape it this time.

Because the truth behind Kamala Harris endangering Americans is finally revealed.

Violent crime has surged under the Biden-Harris administration, despite the usual misleading claims from the Harris camp and their media allies, who insist on pushing the narrative that serious offenses are decreasing.

According to a recent Department of Justice study, the truth paints a very different and alarming picture.

The Department of Justice’s Bureau of Justice Statistics revealed in its latest National Crime Victimization Survey that violent crimes like r*pe, aggravated assault, and robbery have all risen sharply from 2020 to 2023.

The numbers don’t lie. Under Trump in 2020, there were 5.6 instances of violent crime per 1,000 individuals aged 12 and over. By 2023, under Biden and Harris, that number had ballooned to 8.7 per 1,000 — a staggering increase.

The situation hit its worst point in 2022, with violent crime peaking at 9.8 per 1,000 people, the highest rate in the entire 2020-2023 period.

Despite the spin from Biden and Harris, this rise in violence is something Americans are feeling in their communities — and it’s a major issue as the election approaches.

During the Trump-Harris debate on September 10, President Trump didn’t hesitate to call out this frightening trend, linking the crime wave to the flood of illegal migrants pouring over the border since 2021.

“All over the world crime is down. All over the world except here,” Trump noted.

“Crime here is up and through the roof. Despite their fraudulent statements…we have a new form of crime. It’s called migrant crime. And it’s happening at levels that nobody thought possible.”

Trump’s assessment is a sharp contrast to the weak defenses Harris and the media have been throwing around.

Even when ABC News’ David Muir tried to push the usual liberal talking point that the FBI says violent crime is declining, Trump was quick to shut it down, reminding everyone that the FBI’s data doesn’t even include the worst-hit cities.

And Trump has a point — the FBI’s quarterly report may show a 15.2% drop in reported violent crime from January to March 2024 compared to the same period in 2023, but that report only captures crimes that were actually reported to the police. It conveniently leaves out the countless incidents that never make it into the official record, making the situation look better than it is.

The National Crime Victimization Survey (NCVS), by contrast, is far more comprehensive, interviewing 230,000 U.S. residents about their experiences with crime — whether or not they reported the incident to police.

Experts like John Lott, President of the Crime Prevention Research Center, are quick to point out that this makes the NCVS a more reliable indicator of the real crime situation on the ground. “What the FBI measures is that reported crime went down, and that’s a big difference between total and reported crime,” Lott told Fox News Digital.

The reality is, many Americans no longer bother to report crimes because they’ve lost faith in the system — thanks, in large part, to the soft-on-crime policies championed by the Biden-Harris administration.

With arrest rates in major cities falling, particularly in 2022 where only 20% of reported violent crimes led to an arrest, why would people trust that reporting a crime will lead to any real action?

As Lott put it, “If people don’t think that the criminals are going to be caught and punished, it reduces the returns for some people reporting the crimes to the police to begin with.”

Despite all of this, the FBI’s 2023 report claims a slight 3% decline in violent crime compared to 2022. But again, this is based on only reported crimes, and with more than 15% of law enforcement agencies not participating in the FBI’s program, the data is incomplete at best.

When the White House was asked to comment on the NCVS data, they pointed to a Politifact article that, predictably, argued the FBI’s numbers are more reliable, brushing aside the unreported crimes as if they don’t matter.

At the end of the day, the Biden-Harris administration continues to play games with the truth while crime rates soar, and it’s the American people who are paying the price. How much longer can they sweep this reality under the rug?
