Tim Walz threatens a leading Trump official in the worst way

Walz is a failed VP candidate. So naturally he’s very bitter.

And Tim Walz threatened a leading Trump official in the worst way.

In a fiery exchange on MS NOW’s The Briefing this past Thursday, Minnesota’s Democratic Governor Tim Walz launched a pointed attack against former Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, hinting at potential investigations that could drag her into Minnesota’s legal web. Walz didn’t hold back, suggesting Noem might soon find herself spending unwanted time in the North Star State as authorities dig into unspecified incidents.

Walz declared, “Former Secretary Noem should probably get used to spending more time in Minnesota because I have a pretty good feeling in the future she may be doing that because we have got to get accountability.”

This bold statement comes amid growing tensions between Democratic-led states and conservative figures, painting a picture of yet another partisan showdown.

Host Jen Psaki, no stranger to political spin from her days in the Biden administration, pressed Walz for clarity. She asked, “When you say she, she’s just expect to spend some time, more time in Minnesota what do you mean by that?” Psaki’s question seemed to seek specifics in what many see as a vague threat from the governor.

Responding with intensity, Walz outlined his vision for scrutiny. He said, “Well, look, our folks are going to be, looking into each and every one of these incidents that happened. We’re going to want answers. Who gave the orders to do this? Who said that these folks could do that?”

“Why within 20 minutes before understanding what happened, she found the need to slander Minnesotans, American citizens. Why did they not retract that?”

“And why were why were Minnesota investigators at the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension not allowed to be on these scenes? Where’s the evidence? We need the evidence to do this.”

This rhetoric from Walz highlights a familiar Democratic tactic: using investigations as weapons against political opponents. Noem, a staunch conservative voice, now appears in the crosshairs of Minnesota’s progressive machine, raising alarms about selective justice in America today.

Walz continued, emphasizing his push for what he calls accountability. He added, “And I know both County Attorney Moriarty, Attorney General Ellison are people are looking for accountability. That’s what the system is.”

Naming local officials like Mary Moriarty and Keith Ellison, both known for their left-leaning agendas, suggests this probe could be stacked against Noem from the start.

Drawing a sharp contrast, Walz took a swipe at President Donald Trump, saying, “This isn’t as Donald Trump is. He came here on retribution. We’re not looking for retribution. We’re looking for justice.”

Such comments reek of hypocrisy to many on the right, who view Democratic pursuits as nothing short of vengeful politics disguised as fairness.

Walz wrapped up his remarks by zeroing in on Noem personally: “And we’re looking to make sure that no one is above the law. So Kristi Noem, I it sure seems to me there’s a lot of unanswered questions.”

This direct call-out feels like a challenge, inviting speculation about what “incidents” Walz is referencing and why Noem is the target.
