Top Democrat unleashes on his party in devastating rant caught on camera

The Left has a lot of soul searching they need to do. They can’t just blame Americans for their loss.

And now this top Democrat unleashed on his party in a devastating rant caught on camera.

In the wake of President-elect Donald Trump’s victory, The Daily Show host Jon Stewart delivered a blistering takedown of media and polling analysts, slamming them for their consistent failures over recent decades—not just this election cycle.

After what had been billed as a close race, Trump decisively defeated Vice President Kamala Harris on Tuesday.

Late into election night, Stewart couldn’t resist pointing out that the biggest losers seemed to be the pollsters, whose predictions were once again off the mark.

“I do want to very quickly send a message to all the pollsters, the election pollsters. Bl– me,” Stewart sneered.

“I don’t ever want to [bleep] from you again. I don’t ever want to hear, ‘We’ve corrected the overcorrection.’ You don’t know s— about s— and I don’t care for it.”

In a mocking tone, he continued, mimicking the pollsters with, “’We’ll figure it out next time — oh, we were in the margin of—’ B— me!”

After venting his frustration, Stewart took a deep breath and explained, “We’re going to come out of this election and make all kinds of pronouncements about what this country is and what this world is, and the truth is, we are not really going to know s—.”

Cautioning viewers against the inevitable wave of post-election “certainty” from pundits, Stewart said, “The lessons that our pundits take away from these results that they will pronounce with certainty will be wrong, and we have to remember that.”

He then highlighted past examples of pundits missing the mark.

He recalled ABC’s George Stephanopoulos gushing over Obama’s 2008 win, calling it “the first election of the future, really, and I think we are moving towards a post-racial America.” Stewart scoffed, “Yeah, that lasted a day!”

He also brought up the 2012 election, when analysts insisted Republicans needed to win over Hispanic voters.

Then, with a pointed jab, he showed a clip of Trump’s notorious comments about Mexican immigrants, quipping, “Which apparently was the winning message!” a nod to Trump’s support among Hispanic voters in this election.

Next, Stewart highlighted how pundits predicted a shift to younger leadership — before showing footage of Biden accepting the Democratic nomination with, “Need I say it?”

Stewart also revisited post-January 6 predictions about Trump’s “pariah” status.

He showed clips of NBC’s John Heilemann and MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell confidently declaring Trump would never again step foot in the Capitol.

After a long, bleeped-out rant, Stewart wrapped up with a bit of dark humor, playing a clip of a voter saying, “I just want this nightmare to be over. I do have children, and I have a cat, and I will be watching with my Xanax and my bottle of sauvignon blanc.”

Stewart’s takedown served as a biting reminder that, when it comes to political forecasting, the so-called experts may know less than they claim.
