Trump floored by what he’s learned about the Deep State’s plans to usurp him

The Deep State has had it out for President Trump for years. The truth is slowly coming out.

That’s why Trump was floored by what he’s learned about the Deep State’s plans to usurp him.

Newly declassified documents have exposed a troubling pattern of obstruction within the Justice Department, FBI, and IRS during President Donald Trump’s first term, revealing how investigations into high-profile Democrats like James Comey, Hillary Clinton, Adam Schiff, and Hunter Biden were deliberately stalled, sidelined, or outright abandoned. These revelations, uncovered by Just the News, confirm what many Americans have long suspected: the Deep State worked tirelessly to shield politically connected elites from accountability while targeting Trump and his allies.

The evidence is d*mning. Former FBI Director James Comey, once celebrated as a champion of justice, was caught orchestrating leaks of classified information to manipulate public perception and undermine Trump’s presidency. Declassified memos reveal that Comey used his lieutenants, including FBI general counsel James Baker and chief of staff James Rybicki, to funnel sensitive details to the media.

One memo states, “The USPIS Investigation also revealed Baker disclosed USG [U.S. government] classified information to the NYT under the belief he was ultimately instructed and authorized to do so by then FBI Director James Comey.” Baker admitted to leaking to The New York Times, believing he was acting on Comey’s orders through Rybicki, yet no prosecutions followed.

Comey’s efforts extended beyond his inner circle. Columbia University law professor Daniel Richman, a longtime friend, admitted to FBI agents that he routinely communicated with Times reporter Michael Schmidt to “correct stories critical” of Comey and the FBI and to “shape future press coverage.”

A Times article penned by Schmidt, titled Comey Memo Says Trump Asked Him to End Flynn Investigation, was published on May 16, 2017, sparking the appointment of Special Counsel Robert Mueller the next day. Richman claimed he wasn’t certain if he leaked classified intelligence but could only deny it “with a discount.” Despite these admissions, the FBI concluded in 2021 that there was insufficient evidence to charge Comey or Richman, allowing them to escape accountability.

The DOJ’s inaction didn’t stop with Comey. A career intelligence officer turned whistleblower revealed that then-Rep. Adam Schiff authorized leaking classified information to smear Trump during the now-debunked Russiagate scandal. FBI interview notes state, “In this meeting, SCHIFF stated the group would leak classified information which was derogatory to President of the United States DONALD J. TRUMP. SCHIFF stated the information would be used to indict President TRUMP.”

The whistleblower, a Democrat who worked for the House Intelligence Committee, called Schiff’s actions “unethical,” “illegal,” and “treasonous,” but believed Schiff felt protected by the Constitution’s speech and debate clause. Schiff denied the allegations, calling them “absolutely and categorically false,” but FBI memos tell a different story. The investigation was halted when a House Intelligence Committee lawyer intervened, and no charges were filed.

The Clinton Foundation, long suspected of being a vehicle for influence peddling, also escaped serious scrutiny. IRS whistleblowers John Moynihan and Larry Doyle provided evidence of financial wrongdoing, with one IRS official admitting “the entire enterprise is a fraud.” Yet, by July 2019, the IRS abruptly stopped working with whistleblowers, claiming it lacked the resources to pursue charitable organizations.

The Uranium One deal, where Hillary Clinton allegedly helped approve the sale of a Canadian uranium company to Russia’s Rosatom while the Clinton Foundation received millions, was another missed opportunity. The New York Times reported, “as the Russians gradually assumed control of Uranium One in three separate transactions from 2009 to 2013 […] a flow of cash made its way to the Clinton Foundation.” Attorney General Jeff Sessions tasked U.S. Attorney John Huber with reviewing these allegations, but without special counsel status, the probe fizzled out.

Hunter Biden’s tax crimes were similarly swept under the rug. IRS whistleblowers Gary Shapley and Joseph Ziegler revealed that the DOJ slow-walked the investigation during Trump’s first term. Shapley testified, “After former Vice President Joseph Biden became the presumptive Democratic nominee for President in early April 2020, career DOJ officials dragged their feet on the IRS taking these investigative steps.”

By June 2020, DOJ officials delayed searches, interviews, and document requests, citing election concerns. They even tried to remove Hunter’s name from warrants and requests. Then-Associate Deputy Attorney General Richard Donoghue issued a “cease and desist” on overt investigative actions in September 2020. Despite these obstructions, President Biden pardoned his son in December 2024, contradicting his earlier promise.

Special Counsel John Durham, tasked with investigating the origins of the Trump-Russia probe, failed to deliver justice. Despite evidence of politicization, Durham’s report “recommended NO prosecution of Baker or anyone else” for leaking classified information. The only prosecution was of ex-FBI lawyer Kevin Clinesmith, who falsified a document to renew FISA wiretaps on Carter Page.

Clinesmith, who expressed anti-Trump bias and declared “Viva le resistance” after Trump’s 2016 win, received just a year of probation and 400 hours of community service. Durham’s report also endorsed the flawed January 2017 Intelligence Community Assessment, which relied on the discredited Steele Dossier, ignoring evidence that it was included in the ICA’s classified version.

The FBI’s multiple leak investigations—code-named Arctic Haze, Genetic Christmas, Sirens Lure, Foggy Falls, Riding Hood, Echos Fate, and Tropic Vortex—failed to hold anyone accountable. Challenges included large pools of potential leakers, uncooperative DOJ partners, and congressional staffers invoking speech and debate privilege. One memo noted, “Based upon discussions with DOJ, these investigative steps did not generate sufficient proof to charge any individual with willfully transmitting the Classified Information.” This allowed Comey, Schiff, and others to weaponize classified information without consequence.

DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz criticized Comey’s leaks in a 2019 report, stating, “Comey’s unauthorized disclosure of sensitive law enforcement information about the Flynn investigation merits similar criticism.” Comey admitted in 2017 that he leaked information to “prompt the appointment of a special counsel,” a goal he achieved.

Yet, despite Horowitz’s criminal referral, the DOJ declined to prosecute. The mainstream media, particularly The New York Times and The Washington Post, amplified these leaks, with one FBI memo noting disclosures tied to a congressional “Read Room.” These outlets faced no repercussions for spreading false narratives.

There’s hope for change in Trump’s second term. Attorney General Pam Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel have indicated a tougher stance. Recent FBI raids, including one on former National Security Advisor John Bolton’s home, suggest a shift. Patel’s X post, “NO ONE is above the law… @FBI agents on mission,” hints at renewed vigor. Patel, who uncovered many of these documents, told Just the News, “certain officials used their positions to selectively leak classified information to shape political narratives” to weaponize “intelligence and law enforcement for political gain.”

The DOJ, FBI, and IRS’s failures to investigate Comey, Schiff, the Clinton Foundation, and Hunter Biden reveal a Deep State committed to preserving its own power. With Bondi and Patel at the helm, there’s a chance to restore accountability and ensure no one is above the law. The American people deserve a system that serves them, not the elite, and it’s time to finish draining the swamp.
