Trump official smacks around Harris ally on live TV

The Harris campaign has been playing with fire. Now they’re getting burnt.

As a Trump official just smacked around a Kamala Harris ally on live TV.

The lying from Kamala Harris and the Democrats during this critical election season has been utterly shocking to witness. The Kamala Harris campaign operatives are working overtime to wipe the memories of Americans, like how they’re claiming that she was never a “border czar” even though dozens of outlets including CNN and MSNBC gave her that title.

The Democrats are essentially playing a game of fire with the way they are trying to pull a fast one on the American people. If their gaslighting and misinformation campaign doesn’t work, they will come out at the end with much worse political capital than in decades. They are banking on their misinformation campaigns taking them to a victory this November.

One of their favorite lies lately has been on the topic of abortion. They are trying their best to appear moderate on this issue and resurrect the rhetoric of “safe, legal, and rare.” That was the slogan of the pro-abortionists for decades, until they believed they no longer had to hide behind the idea of it being safe, legal, or rare. Many high-profile Democrats have, for years now, been claiming that they want abortion to be legal during all nine months of a pregnancy.

Now they’re trying to walk this extremism back so they can make a play for the independent voters in swing states like Michigan, Wisconsin, Arizona, and Pennsylvania. Walking that back looks a lot like blatantly lying about the fact that Democrats have been cheering on unrestricted and unfettered abortion through all nine months of a pregnancy.

During a heated Fox News segment on Sunday night, former Trump administration official Kellyanne Conway confronted Democratic strategist Jose Aristimuno over claims about the Democratic Party’s stance on abortion. The exchange highlighted the ongoing debate over abortion rights following the Supreme Court’s reversal of Roe v. Wade in 2022.

The discussion began when Aristimuno asserted that Democrats do not support abortion through the ninth month of pregnancy. “Democrats want to make sure that — Democrats want women to get an abortion until nine months. That’s not true,” Aristimuno stated after being questioned by Fox News host Trey Gowdy about Vice President Kamala Harris’ position on abortion restrictions. He added, “It’s only through the first trimester. Most Democrats and most Americans would agree…”

Conway quickly pushed back on Aristimuno’s claim. “That’s not true,” she interjected, arguing that Democrats in states like California and New York have supported laws allowing abortion much later into pregnancy. “I’m sorry, I can’t have you lying when I’m sitting on the set,” Conway said, directly challenging Aristimuno. “What is the law in California and New York? Do you know what the law is in California and New York, New Jersey, Illinois, and Colorado? It is not 8 or 12 weeks, sir.”

The conversation reflects broader political tensions over abortion laws, particularly in the wake of the Supreme Court’s June 2022 decision to uphold Mississippi’s 15-week abortion ban, effectively overturning Roe v. Wade. The ruling galvanized Democrats, with many calling for reforms to the Supreme Court, which became more conservative following three appointments made during Donald Trump’s presidency.

Public opinion on abortion also remains divided. An October 2023 poll conducted by the Wall Street Journal revealed that 77% of Democrats favored allowing a woman to have an abortion for any reason, demonstrating the party’s strong support for abortion rights amidst a shifting legal landscape.

Democrats On Record Defending Abortion Extremism

In 2023, Kamala Harris’s Vice President running mate, Tim Walz, sign a bill to repeal the Minnesota law requiring the state to try and keep the baby alive after a botched abortion.

As governor of Virginia, Ralph Northam sparked controversy during a 2019 radio interview where he appeared to endorse a bill that would allow abortions up to the point of birth in cases of severe fetal abnormality. The comments even made it sound like he might support taking the life of a baby after he/she was born.

In the interview, the Democrat Governor said, “If a mother is in labor, I can tell you exactly what would happen. The infant would be delivered. The infant would be kept comfortable. The infant would be resuscitated if that’s what the mother and the family desired, and then a discussion would ensue between the physicians and the mother.”

During a 2020 Democratic primary debate, Senator Bernie Sanders was asked if he supported abortion “up until the moment of birth.” Sanders responded by reaffirming his support for a woman’s right to choose but did not directly address the specifics of abortion timing.

The Senate Democrat from Vermont said, “I think that that happens very, very rarely, and I think this is being made into a political issue. But at the end of the day, I believe that the decision over abortion belongs to a woman and her physician, not the government.”
