Americans were horrified to watch former President Trump be attacked live on TV. But now it’s given him a silver-lining.
And Trump received incredible news moments after being shot.
Billionaire Elon Musk threw his support behind former President Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential race just 30 minutes after Trump survived a shocking assassination attempt at a Pennsylvania rally.
“I fully endorse President Trump and hope for his rapid recovery,” Musk declared Saturday evening.

Musk’s endorsement on X (formerly Twitter) quickly went viral, amassing over a million “likes” in under four hours, ranking among the platform’s most popular posts.
The post featured a video of Trump heroically raising his fist moments after being shot.
Minutes later, Musk shared a still image of Trump, his fist outstretched, cheek bloodied, with an American flag in the background.
“Last time America had a candidate this tough was Theodore Roosevelt,” Musk remarked in a follow-up post.
Roosevelt, known for his resilience, was shot during a campaign speech in 1912 and famously continued his speech with the bullet still in his chest, likening himself to a “Bull Moose.”
Popular X account Wall Street Silver responded to Musk’s endorsement, asking: “Did Trump just win the election?”

With over 189 million followers, Musk’s influence on X is unmatched.
Just before his public endorsement, Musk was revealed to have made a significant donation to America PAC, a political action committee backing Trump.
The New York Post reported that “America PAC was formed in Austin, Texas in May – where Musk’s electric car company Tesla is headquartered.”
Although Musk previously leaned Democratic and even supported Biden over Trump in 2020, he has now clearly shifted his allegiance.
As of July 14, 2024, Musk is the world’s wealthiest person with a net worth of $249.8 billion. Besides owning X, Musk serves as CEO of both Tesla and SpaceX.
Musk isn’t the only billionaire shifting away from Biden. Hedge fund manager and former Democratic donor Bill Ackman also endorsed Trump on X, stating, “I am going to formally endorse [Trump].”
I am going to formally endorse @realDonaldTrump. I came to this decision some time ago as many @X followers have already understood from my supportive posts of Trump and my criticisms of @POTUS Biden.
The reason why I have not yet formally done so is that I want to explain my…
