Two assassination attempts would be too much for anyone to stomach. But now we’re finding even more.
And Trump shocked all with a confession of other attempts on his life.
In a bold statement that underscores the serious threats he continues to face, former President Donald Trump revealed early Wednesday that Iran is actively seeking to have him assassinated.
“Big threats on my life by Iran. The entire U.S. Military is watching and waiting,” Trump wrote on Truth Social, issuing a stark warning.
At 78, Trump remains a formidable figure, both on the national and global stage, and these threats come as no surprise to those familiar with the danger he posed to Iran during his presidency.
Trump didn’t mince words about the situation, adding, “Moves were already made by Iran that didn’t work out, but they will try again. Not a good situation for anyone.”
It’s clear that, even out of office, Trump is still very much a target for foreign adversaries who fear his return to power.
Displaying his characteristic resilience, Trump assured supporters that he is well protected.
“I am surrounded by more men, guns, and weapons than I have ever seen before,” he noted, thanking Congress for its unanimous approval of increased funding for his Secret Service protection.
In a rare bipartisan moment, even Democrats had no choice but to support this measure, knowing the consequences of an attack on a former president.
Trump emphasized, “An attack on a former President is a Death Wish for the attacker!”
While Trump didn’t dive into specifics regarding the alleged assassination attempts, it’s hard to ignore the real danger he’s faced this summer.
Twice in two months, he’s narrowly avoided death.
In July, a shooter grazed his ear at a rally in Pennsylvania, only to be swiftly neutralized by Secret Service.
More recently, Trump’s security detail foiled another assassination attempt on his West Palm Beach golf course, where a would-be shooter was caught lurking in the hedges.
The real estate mogul and former commander-in-chief remains undeterred by these threats, standing strong in the face of adversity.
With his unmatched tenacity, Trump’s enemies — both foreign and domestic — know they are up against a man who refuses to back down.
Now we’ll just have to hold our breath for the next month and a half.
