Tucker Carlson shares disturbing text he received about Donald Trump

The Democrats are panicking about Trump winning. So they’re stooping to new lows.

And Tucker Carlson just shared a disturbing text he received about Donald Trump.

There’s been many reports coming out over the past couple weeks that Democrats are simply not comfortable with where the election is going right now. At one point in the race, Kamala Harris had all the momentum and Democrats in Congress were faring better as well.

Today, the race is completely different. It’s Donald Trump with all the momentum and the current predictions are much better for Republicans running for Congress than in September or August. It’s entirely possible that Donald Trump will win and the GOP will take the House and the Senate.

This has the Democrats and the entire media arm of the Democrat Party collectively losing their marbles. Meltdown mode is in effect. Now they are trying to stoop to lower lows than they are even used to, including sending out threatening texts to anyone who is a Trump supporter.

Tucker Carlson, who has left Fox News and become an extremely popular independent voice with his own show that is featured on X (previously known as Twitter), shared photos of a series of texts he received from the New York Times. The texts seem to indicate that the New York Times wanted to get statements out of Tucker Carlson that they could craft into a hit piece on him and Donald Trump.

Here’s what Tucker first received from one Nico Grant from the New York Times:

“Good day Mr. Carlson, I hope you’re well. I’m Nico Grant, a reporter at The New York Times. I wanted to give you an opportunity to comment for an upcoming article that takes a look at how political commentators have discussed the upcoming election on YouTube. We rely on an analysis conducted by researchers at Media Matters for America. Could you kindly provide us with a comment or decline to comment by end of day tomorrow, Tuesday, Oct. 29? Thanks so much for your time.”

The text goes on to say that they have “identified” videos of Tucker Carlson that they find to be “election misinformation” regarding the 2020 election and Donald Trump. They then ask him whether he receives ad revenue from YouTube and how often they demonitize his content. Of course, this is all extremely inappropriate.

This is when Tucker Carlson responded with his own two cents. He responded to the New York Times saying, “So the New York Times is working with a left-wing hate group to silence critics of the Democratic Party? Please ask yourself why you’re participating in it. This is why you got into journalism? It’s shameful. I hope you’re filled with guilt and self-loathing for sending me a text like this. Please quote me.”

The New York Times employee then tried to have a “gotchya” moment by asking him if he wanted to “address” any of the points or questions from the original text. Tucker Carlson did not respond well to that at all.

“Would I like to participate in your attempt to censor me? No thanks. But I do hope you’ll quote what I wrote above and also note that I told you to f*** off, which I am now doing. Thanks.”

Tucker Carlson was not the only person to receive a text like this. The Daily Wire’s Ben Shapiro shared a similar text he received from the New York Times. He did not indicate if he responded to the message, though.

Ben Shapiro noted that it’s strange that the New York Times is doing work with Media Matters, which is a far-Left organization that has a goal of de-platforming and censoring anyone who is in conservative media and has opinions contradictory to the mainstream media.

It seems entirely inappropriate for the New York Times, which was at one point an esteemed outlet for news and reporting in America, to be tying themselves to this type of obvious partisanship just before an election wraps up.
