Fox News is waging a war against Tucker Carlson. They’re furious that he’s as popular as ever.
Now Tucker Carlson has waved his middle finger at Fox News with this amazing video.
On June 6, Tucker Carlson released his first episode of his new show that he’s hosting over on Twitter since he’s left Fox News.
The pilot episode has been watched over 110 million times according to the Twitter metrics and has been “liked” almost 900,000 times as well.
To say he’s hit the ground running would be an understatement.
The whole point of Tucker Carlson bringing his show to Twitter was so that Fox News wouldn’t be able to claim that he is in violation of his contract that is still in place with the cable news network.
Even though Fox News fired him, they still don’t want him to appear anywhere else.
But Fox News still tried to accuse Tucker Carlson of violating his contract by uploading the new videos to Twitter.
“Pursuant to the terms of the Agreement, Mr. Carlson’s ‘services shall be completely exclusive to Fox,'” Fox News said in a complaint about Tucker Carlson’s new Twitter episode.
They added that Carlson is to be “prohibited from rendering services of any type whatsoever, whether ‘over the internet via streaming or similar distribution, or other digital distribution whether now known or hereafter devised.'”
Carlson’s legal team shot back saying that he is innocent because he’s merely exercising First Amendment rights that everyone else has.
Amidst this incoming legal battle, many were wondering if Tucker Carlson would put his efforts on Twitter on hold to ensure he isn’t digging a deeper hole for himself if he were found to be in violation of his contract with Fox News.
But he’s not slowing down at all.
Carlson has released a second episode to his Twitter show that he gave a caption of “Cling to your taboos!”
The second episode has also been met with immense attention as it’s already been viewed 44 million times according to Twitter and has also been “liked” more than 400,000 times at the time of this writing.
In the episode, he discusses issues like the downturn of morality in the political scene as well as the issue of the objectification of children on the part of the radical Left.
Proceeding with the release of subsequent episodes while his lawyers and Fox News lawyers go at it is certainly a brave move. But you can’t expect anything less than that from the likes of Tucker Carlson.
Fox News is only going to get more and more furious as episodes roll in and while their ratings continue to tumble because their viewers feel betrayed.
