Joe Biden has ensured the complete collapse of the southern border. But there are some things even more alarming than we thought.
And Border Patrol just revealed a scary reality you won’t believe.
Biden’s job approval is one of the worst that has ever been seen in the history of this country.
Thanks to him, inflation has ravaged the American wallet and paycheck.
But even worse has been his complete failure to stem the flow of illegal immigrants coming into this country.
And Americans agree.
Just 38 percent of registered voters in a new Harvard CAPS-Harris Poll, shared with The Hill, said they approved of Biden’s handling of immigration this month, down from 46 percent who said the same in November.
And the numbers have borne out his negligence.
Last month, the southern border of the United States witnessed its greatest rate of illegal migrant encounters, far above previous figures.
According to Customs and Border Patrol sources, migrant interactions reached a stunning 300,000 instances in the final month of 2023, a figure previously thought unthinkable.
More than 302,000 migrants were detected attempting to cross the United States’ southern border between December 1 and December 31.
It is the largest monthly total ever recorded.
It is also the first time that the number of migrant interactions has surpassed 300,000.
Since the start of the fiscal year on Oct. 1, more than 785,000 migrant interactions have been registered, the largest first-quarter total ever recorded.
Republicans have blamed the rise on the administration’s policies, particularly the repeal of Trump-era rules, while the administration claims it is dealing with a hemispheric crisis that requires additional budget and immigration reform legislation from Congress.
Texas officials have been moving the migrants across the country. On December 31, a plane carrying migrants was witnessed landing at Chicago Rockford International Airport in Illinois.
Mayor Michael Gonnelli of Secaucus, New Jersey, stated that busloads of migrants on their way to New York City had halted at his town’s rail station, hoping to avoid the city’s migrant entrance laws.
“It seems quite clear the bus operators are finding a way to thwart the requirements of the executive order by dropping migrants at the train station in Secaucus and having them continue to their final destination,” Gonnelli stated in a press release.
Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas traveled to Mexico City this week as part of a U.S. team to meet with President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador.
The countries reaffirmed their commitments to “orderly, humane, and regular migration” and emphasized their efforts to address the “root causes” of migration, disrupt human smuggling, and promote private investment, while simultaneously engaging in “ambitious development programs” in the region.
However, the statement also stated that officials discussed the “benefits” of granting some form of legal status to illegal immigrants already in the United States, including those protected by President Barack Obama’s 2012 Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) — an executive order signed by Obama that shielded some illegal immigrants who arrived in the United States as minors.
