Our country’s list of enemies is growing bigger. And now it’s striking close to home.
Because Mexico and China just teamed up to wage a secret war against America.
Author and investigative journalist Peter Schweizer appeared on the latest episode of the Pod Force One podcast, hosted by Miranda Devine, where he discussed what he described as the strategic use of migration by foreign governments to exert political influence in the United States.
Schweizer, the best-selling author of The Invisible Coup: How American Elites Hide Their Power to Control Your Life, argued that unlike historical migration waves from groups such as the Irish or Mexican-Americans, current patterns involve organized efforts with political objectives.
“The reality is that this is not the migration of 120 years ago when the Irish came or even 50 years ago when Mexican-Americans came… This is weaponized migration that has a political purpose and a political direction and is organized,” Schweizer stated during the interview.
Mexico’s Alleged Political Infrastructure
Schweizer cited statements from Mexican officials to support his claims about Mexico’s approach. He referenced a December 2024 comment from a top aide to Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum: “We already know that the Mexican population in the United States reaches 39.9 million… We Mexicans are reclaiming our territory.”
He also quoted Mexican Sen. Felix Salgado: “Mexicans are in our territory: California, Nevada, Texas, Utah, New Mexico, Arizona, Kansas, Oklahoma, Colorado and Wyoming… We’re going to take back the territory that was stolen from us.”
Schweizer clarified that he does not believe Mexican leaders expect literal territorial annexation but aim to establish significant political influence. “They probably don’t literally expect these states to become Mexican states, but they do want to become political kingmakers within our borders – and they are already trying,” he said.
He further alleged that Mexico has developed a political infrastructure in the U.S., including consular networks and migrant outreach, to organize communities in ways that advance Mexican interests, such as participating in protests against U.S. immigration enforcement agencies.
China’s Exploitation of Birthright Citizenship
Turning to China, Schweizer described what he called a systematic effort to leverage U.S. birthright citizenship policies. He claimed thousands of Chinese companies facilitate travel for pregnant women or girlfriends of Chinese elites to give birth in the United States or its territories, securing U.S. citizenship for the children.
“There are literally thousands of Chinese companies that Chinese elites pay maybe $80,000, $100,000 to fly their pregnant wives or girlfriends to the United States… They give birth here. As soon as the child is able to travel on an airplane again, they fly back to China. But they carry with them a birth certificate and the ability to declare themselves an American citizen at any time,” Schweizer explained.
He cited estimates suggesting that over the past 13 years, roughly 100,000 Chinese babies have been born in the U.S. or territories annually, resulting in “more than a million” individuals holding U.S. citizenship but raised in China with limited ties to the country. Schweizer warned that these citizens could potentially return to participate in U.S. elections while maintaining connections to the Chinese Communist Party elite.
The discussion highlighted concerns over long-term demographic and political impacts from these practices, with Schweizer emphasizing the less visible political networks formed by recent migrants compared to more obvious economic and social effects of large-scale immigration.
Schweizer’s book explores related themes in U.S. foreign and immigration policy, and the podcast episode is available through Post outlets. The claims reflect Schweizer’s analysis and have drawn attention amid ongoing debates over border security and citizenship rules.
