Joe Biden’s failures on the southern border are adding up. Now they’re having devastating consequences.
Because President Biden has the blood of an 11-year-old girl on his hands.
During a press conference on Friday, Pasadena, Texas police confirmed that the person of interest in the heinous murder of an 11-year-old girl is a Guatemalan national who illegally entered the United States but was let go by Border Patrol and Health and Human Services (HHS) because he was 17 at the time.
According to police, 18-year-old Juan Carlos Garcia-Rodriguez is a suspect in the murder of 11-year-old Maria Gonzalez, who was also assaulted and placed in a trash bag under a bed after her life was taken.
In January, Garcia-Rodriguez crossed the U.S.-Mexico border illegally into El Paso and surrendered himself in to Border Patrol. 17 years old and still considered a minor, he was turned over to HHS, which then released him. He recently turned 18 years old.
Garcia-Rodriguez was interrogated by police during the initial investigation, but he was not considered a suspect because there was no DNA evidence linking him to the crime.
Before the homicide, Garcia-Rodriguez had been in the area for approximately three weeks, according to Pasadena police. He is currently running from authorities and is regarded as a threat. Officials have been unable to make contact with his alleged Louisiana-based sponsor.

This is a prime example of how the system is failing.
The crisis at the southern border is bringing about unprecedented crime in the southern regions of America, particularly in the form of drug proliferation and violent homicides.
And yet, the Biden administration continues to do next to nothing about these side effects of the southern border crisis worsening.
In fact, the Biden administration isn’t just standing by and doing nothing. If anything, they are working against anyone who dares to address the southern border.
In Texas, the Greg Abbott administration created a buoy barrier system in the El Paso region that is designed to prevent illegal crossings but also allow those who cross the dangerous waters to have something to hold on to so that they don’t have to perish for their poor decisions.
And what is the Biden administration doing in response? Suing Governor Greg Abbott, of course.
They are also trying to classify a certain species of mussels found in that river in El Paso as endangered so that the Abbott administration has to remove the buoy barrier.
So effectively, the Biden administration has tried to prevent a southern state governor from being able to protect its own citizens in favor of seafood.
NEW: The Biden administration took sudden action this week to protect two rare mussel species in the Rio Grande, in the exact spot of the river where Gov. Greg Abbott (R-TX) has installed a 1,000-foot line of buoys to block immigrants from crossing.

This is the Biden administration’s idea of justice, apparently. Stopping anyone and everyone from protecting themselves and then doing nothing about violent crimes being committed by criminals crossing the southern border.
Our hearts go out to the family of Garcia-Rodriguez and hope that the criminal is caught and brought to justice. That includes the criminals in the Biden regime.
