President Trump receives shocking notice from the National Border Patrol Council

The situation at the border is changing. Congress needs to respond.

And President Trump has just received an eyebrow-raising notice from the National Border Patrol Council leaders.

Border Patrol Unions Announce Support For Trump’s Funding Bill

President Donald Trump’s relentless focus on securing America’s borders has yielded unprecedented results, and now, a sweeping legislative package dubbed the “One Big Beautiful Bill” is poised to lock in those victories. From the National Border Patrol Council to heartbroken angel families, supporters of robust immigration enforcement are rallying behind the bill, praising its bold investments in border infrastructure, personnel, and deportation efforts. Passed by the House in May, this reconciliation package is a testament to Trump’s vision of a safer, stronger America.

The bill’s border provisions have won over key stakeholders, a feat orchestrated by House GOP leadership. For border hawks, the legislation is a game-changer, delivering critical funding for border wall construction, additional enforcement agents, and resources to sustain Trump’s hard-fought gains at the southern border. The package is seen as a bulwark against the chaos of the previous administration’s open-border policies, which Trump swiftly reversed upon returning to the White House in January.

“The men and women of the National Border Patrol Council (NBPC) are proud to announce our support for the House One Big Beautiful Bill Act,” said Paul Perez, president of the NBPC, the union representing rank-and-file Border Patrol agents, in a statement to the Daily Caller News Foundation. His words carry the weight of those who patrol the frontlines, facing daily challenges to keep America secure.

Perez elaborated on the bill’s transformative potential, stating, “This legislation provides a once in a generation investment in the border security of our great country and will make America safer.” The bill funds thousands of new patrol vehicles, the hiring of additional Border Patrol agents, and incentives to boost recruitment and retention. It also includes major investments in physical infrastructure, such as roads along the border, ensuring agents have the tools they need to succeed.

The numbers behind the bill are staggering. According to House Majority Whip Tom Emmer, the package allocates funds for over 700 miles of primary border wall, 900 miles of river barriers, 629 miles of secondary barriers, and the replacement of 140 miles of pedestrian and vehicle barriers. This ambitious plan builds on Trump’s signature promise to construct a formidable wall, a symbol of his commitment to national sovereignty.

Beyond the wall, the bill strengthens the human element of border security. It provides funding for 3,000 new Border Patrol agents and 5,000 new Office of Field Operations customs officers, bolstering the ranks of those tasked with protecting the nation’s frontiers. These additions are critical to maintaining the “total control” of the southern border that Customs and Border Protection now reports, a remarkable achievement under Trump’s leadership.

Interior enforcement, a cornerstone of Trump’s immigration strategy, also gets a significant boost. The bill funds the hiring of 10,000 new Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents and Homeland Security criminal investigators, empowering them to root out illegal activity within the country. It also allocates resources for at least one million deportations, using both ground and air transportation, ensuring that immigration laws are enforced with precision and resolve.

For angel families—those who have lost loved ones to crimes committed by illegal immigrants—the bill is more than policy; it’s personal. “The ‘One Big Beautiful Bill’ is not just another piece of legislation — it’s a lifeline,” a coalition of these families declared in a public statement.

“This coalition is our voice — and this bill is our moment,” the angel families added, emphasizing the legislation’s role in restoring justice. Among the supporters are Alexis Nungaray and Patty Morin, mothers of Jocelyn Nungaray and Rachel Morin, whose daughters were allegedly s*xually assaulted and m*rdered by foreign nationals who entered the U.S. illegally. Their tragedies fuel the push for stronger enforcement.

Trump’s return to the White House came on the heels of the worst border crisis in U.S. history, a mess he tackled head-on with executive orders and administrative actions. The results speak for themselves: daily border encounters have plummeted by 93%, and “gotaways”—illegal migrants who evade arrest and pose significant safety risks—are down 95%, according to Trump administration data. Migrant crossings overall have dropped by an astounding 99.99%.

These gains are nothing short of historic, but supporters of the “One Big Beautiful Bill” argue that Congress must act to ensure they endure. The bill’s funding package is seen as a vital step to fortify the border against future threats, especially as violent activists target ICE agents and seek to disrupt enforcement efforts. The legislation sends a clear message: America’s safety comes first.

Tom Emmer, in a statement to the Daily Caller News Foundation, highlighted the broad support for the bill, noting, “From the men and women on the frontlines of the border security and deportation efforts to the families of those lost to illegal alien crime, many are counting on provisions within the One Big Beautiful Bill.” His words capture the urgency of the moment, as riots against ICE agents continue to flare.

The bill’s passage in the House marks a significant victory for Trump’s agenda, but its journey to the president’s desk is not yet complete. For those who back the legislation, the stakes could not be higher. It represents a chance to build on Trump’s border security triumphs and deliver lasting protection for American communities.
