The White House releases statement on Joe Biden’s drug problem

Joe Biden is in a world of trouble. There’s no escaping this stunning scandal.

Because the White House has finally released a statement on Joe Biden’s drug problem.

Over the past two years, we’ve watched the fentanyl crisis reach new highs in America’s southern states as the deadly drug has been pouring over the southern border.

The Biden admin apparently doesn’t think the issue is much of an issue at all.

Karine Jean-Pierre, the press secretary for the White House, drew criticism on Tuesday for making utterly careless statements regarding the fentanyl epidemic.

The White House spokeswoman was questioned by Fox News’ Peter Doocy about the murder and kidnapping of Americans who had entered Mexico through Brownsville, Texas.

“So cartels kill Americans on this side of the border with drugs, and now they’re killing Americans on the other side of the border with guns. Why is President Biden so comfortable with cartels operating so close to the U.S.?” Doocy enquired.

However, she asserted that fentanyl levels are at “historic lows” in response.

“Because of the work that this president has done, because of what we’ve done specifically on fentanyl at the border, it’s at historic lows — historic levels that we have been able to record a number of personnel working to secure the border because of what we’ve been able to do, seizing that fentanyl,” Jean-Pierre said.

“We’ve done it in a historic way. That’s because of what this president has done,” KJP continued.

That assertion was quickly attacked by critics.

Some said she might’ve misspoke because the assertion that fentanyl is at historic lows is impossible.

Others said her comments were intentional and ignorant of reality.

The administrator of the Drug Enforcement Administration, Anne Milgram, asserted in an interview from last year that Mexican cartels are to blame for the fentanyl crisis afflicting America, which was emphasized by GOP fast response director Tommy Pigott.

“What we see happening at DEA is essentially that there are two cartels in Mexico, the Sinaloa Cartel and the Jalisco New Generation Cartel, that are killing Americans with fentanyl at catastrophic and record rates like we have never seen before,” she said to the media.

According to the New York Times, fentanyl was largely to blame for the record-breaking number of drug overdose deaths that occurred in 2021.

But the Biden admin is either lying about drug overdoses being at “historic lows” or they are completely incompetent and actually thought that drug abuse was at all-time lows.

Which is worse? Incompetence or outright lying? Either way, the American people are not being led well by the current White House administration.
