Trump delivered millions of names to ICE and the Left is losing their minds

America is a nation of laws. If you break them, it’s time to pack your things.

And now Trump delivered millions of names to ICE and the Left is losing their minds.

Strengthening ICE’s Mission to Protect Taxpayer Resources

The Trump administration has empowered Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) with a new tool to safeguard American taxpayer dollars by granting access to Medicaid enrollee data to identify illegal immigrants receiving benefits intended for citizens.

On Monday, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) signed an agreement, as reported by the Associated Press, allowing ICE to access names, addresses, birth dates, and Social Security numbers.

The agreement states, “ICE will use the CMS data to allow ICE to receive identity and location information on aliens identified by ICE.”

DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin told FOX News this fulfills President Trump’s commitment to “protect Medicaid for eligible beneficiaries,” emphasizing:

“To keep that promise after Joe Biden flooded our country with tens of millions of illegal aliens, CMS and DHS are exploring an initiative to ensure that illegal aliens are not receiving Medicaid benefits that are meant for law-abiding Americans.”

Safeguarding America’s Fiscal Health

With the U.S. federal deficit projected at $1.9 trillion for 2025 by the Congressional Budget Office (CBO), ensuring taxpayer funds are not misused is critical.

The Medicaid database, covering over 71 million enrollees as of March 2025, includes at least 1.4 million individuals who, according to CBO estimates, do not meet legal immigration or citizenship requirements.

These ineligible enrollees drain resources from hardworking Americans, exacerbating the deficit and diverting funds from critical programs like infrastructure, healthcare for citizens, and veteran services.

ICE’s access to this data enables targeted enforcement to remove illegal immigrants from Medicaid rolls, ensuring that benefits are reserved for those who contribute to the nation’s economy and abide by its laws.

Targeted Enforcement with Strict Oversight

The data-sharing agreement is narrowly tailored to balance enforcement with accountability, allowing ICE access only during standard work hours (Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.) and prohibiting data downloads, with access set to expire on September 9, 2025.

This controlled approach ensures ICE can efficiently identify illegal immigrants misusing Medicaid while maintaining data security.

By equipping ICE with precise tools to enforce immigration laws, the Trump administration is taking decisive action to curb the financial burden of illegal immigration, which has strained public resources.
