Donald Trump pulls back the curtain on his plan for this massive shake-up

President Trump is moving to change America for good. And no one on the Left is happy about it.

Now Donald Trump pulled back the curtain on his plan for this massive shake-up.

Trump Prioritizes Border Security Over Putin Concerns

President Donald Trump took to Truth Social on Sunday night, calling for the United States to focus on stopping violent illegal immigrants rather than worrying about Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“We should spend less time worrying about Putin, and more time worrying about migrant r*pe gangs, drug lords, m*rderers, and people from mental institutions entering our Country – So that we don’t end up like Europe!” Trump wrote.

His comments came just days after a tense meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, where Trump’s tough stance sparked backlash from both Democrats and some Republicans. Critics accused the president of undermining Ukraine and favoring Russia, especially following a recent U.S. delegation meeting with Russian officials in Saudi Arabia.

Clashing with Zelensky Over U.S. Support

Friday’s Oval Office meeting between Trump and Zelensky was meant to discuss a potential peace deal to end the Russia-Ukraine war and negotiate a minerals agreement between the two countries. However, the discussion took a dramatic turn when Zelensky criticized the United States for not doing more to support Ukraine since Russia invaded Crimea in 2014.

Zelensky’s complaints did not sit well with Trump or Vice President JD Vance. Both leaders rebuked the Ukrainian president, accusing him of taking American military aid for granted. After a heated 40-minute exchange, Zelensky left the White House without signing the minerals agreement.

In a statement following the meeting, Trump made it clear that future negotiations would only move forward if Zelensky was serious about ending the conflict.

“It’s amazing what comes out through emotion, and I have determined that President Zelenskyy is not ready for Peace if America is involved, because he feels our involvement gives him a big advantage in negotiations. I don’t want advantage, I want PEACE,” Trump said.

Trump Defends His Ukraine Record

On Monday morning, Trump continued his defense against critics, taking aim at Democrats who expressed outrage over his handling of Ukraine-Russia negotiations.

“The only President who gave none of Ukraine’s land to Putin’s Russia is President Donald J. Trump,” he posted. “Remember that when the weak and ineffective Democrat’s [sic] criticize, and the Fake News gladly puts out anything they say!”

Trump has consistently pushed for a peace deal as the war drags past its third year, arguing that a resolution is necessary to prevent further loss of life and to protect American interests.

The Minerals Deal Is “Off the Table”

Despite the rocky meeting, Zelensky told the BBC on Sunday that he remains “ready to sign” the minerals agreement with the United States. However, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent shut down those hopes in an interview with CBS News, stating that no economic deal with Ukraine will move forward without first securing peace.

“It is impossible to have an economic deal without a peace deal,” Bessent said.

He emphasized that the original intention behind the agreement was to strengthen ties between the American and Ukrainian people while sending a strong message to Russia.

“President Trump’s idea for this economic arrangement was to further intertwine the American people and Ukrainian people and show no daylight,” Bessent explained. “To show the Russian leadership that there was no daylight, and President Zelensky came into the Oval Office and tried to re-litigate in front of the world the deal.”

For now, the Trump administration is holding firm — no peace, no deal. And with Trump’s renewed focus on securing the U.S. border and curbing illegal immigration, it’s clear where his priorities lie.
