Trump’s border czar went on Fox News to drop this stunning revelation

Hand-picked border czar for Trump, Tom Homan, doesn’t play around. He means business.

But Tom Homan just went on Fox News and raised eyebrows with this stunning revelation.

Trump’s Border Czar Exposes Democrats’ Dangerous Blind Spot on MS-13 Menace

The Trump administration’s tough stance on illegal immigration and gang violence has once again taken center stage, with Border Czar Tom Homan delivering a searing reminder of the stakes involved. On Thursday, Homan called out Democrats for their perplexing defense of alleged MS-13 gang member Kilmar Abrego Garcia, arguing that their actions endanger the very immigrant communities they claim to champion. His comments, aired on Fox News’ America Reports, reveal a stark divide between the administration’s focus on public safety and the left’s apparent willingness to overlook the brutal realities of gang violence.

Homan, a seasoned law enforcement veteran, didn’t mince words when describing the threat posed by MS-13 and Tren de Agua (TdA). “I knew that [on] day one of the inauguration that we’re gonna be fighting the courts and we’ll be fighting the Democrats, we’d be fighting the NGOs, the activists, we knew the fight was coming and we’re gonna take that fight on,” he declared. His resolve stems from decades of witnessing the carnage inflicted by these gangs, not just on American citizens but on immigrants living in the U.S. Homan emphasized that MS-13 and TdA prey on vulnerable migrant communities, instilling terror through heinous acts that defy human decency.

The savagery of these gangs is well-documented. MS-13, notorious for its barbaric tactics, made headlines in November 2017 when ten suspects in Wheaton, Maryland, beheaded a man, ripped out his heart, and stabbed him over 100 times, according to Sky News. Similarly, TdA’s brutality came into focus with the tragic m*rder of 12-year-old Jocelyn Nungaray in Houston, Texas. Two Venezuelan nationals, identified as TdA members, strangled the young girl and discarded her body in a river.

These atrocities serve as grim reminders of the stakes in the Trump administration’s crackdown on illegal immigration and gang activity. Yet, Democrats appear to be doubling down on their support for Garcia, a man with documented ties to MS-13 and a history of smuggling and domestic abuse. Four Democratic lawmakers, including Florida Rep. Maxwell Frost, even traveled to El Salvador to visit Garcia, though they were rebuffed by local authorities.

Maryland Sen. Chris Van Hollen went further, meeting Garcia in what seemed to be a casual restaurant setting. Their actions suggest a troubling prioritization of political posturing over the safety of American and immigrant communities alike.

The controversy surrounding Garcia’s deportation has fueled tensions between Democrats and the Trump administration. Democrats claim Garcia was deported without due process, citing a clerical error. The administration, however, insists that Garcia, who illegally entered the U.S. in 2011, belongs in El Salvador.

Court documents reveal that Garcia was issued a deportation order in 2019, though an immigration judge granted him “withholding of removal” status later that year, citing potential gang persecution in El Salvador. This legal back-and-forth has only intensified the debate over the administration’s immigration policies.

Homan’s frustration with Democratic rhetoric was palpable. “I’ve seen, in 40 years, what MS-13 and TdA are capable of. I’ve seen the horrific things they have done not only to American citizens, but aliens that live here. I’ve seen their capability. They are animals. I can’t even compare it to animals, animals k*ll to survive, MS-13 and TdA k*ll for pleasure, to instill fear not only in American community, they put fear in the immigrant community. That’s who they attack the most. The migrant community,” he said. His words resonate with those who see the administration’s policies as a necessary shield against unchecked violence.

The legal battle over Garcia’s status has escalated to the highest levels. U.S. District Judge Paula Xinis, appointed by President Obama, ordered the Trump administration to swiftly return Garcia to the U.S., a directive the administration contested. Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts intervened on April 7, temporarily halting Xinis’ order and noting that the U.S. cannot force El Salvador to comply with a federal judge’s demands. The Supreme Court later ruled in April that the administration must “facilitate” Garcia’s return, a decision that has sparked further contention.

El Salvador’s President Nayib Bukele, known for his own hardline stance against gangs, has firmly rejected calls to “smuggle” Garcia back into the U.S. Bukele’s refusal aligns with the Trump administration’s view that deporting dangerous individuals like Garcia is a matter of national security. The administration’s supporters argue that Bukele’s stance validates their approach, showing that strong leadership can curb the influence of gangs like MS-13 and TdA.

Democrats’ persistence in defending Garcia has raised eyebrows, especially given his troubling record. Police reports and court documents detail Garcia’s involvement in human smuggling, his ties to MS-13, and allegations of physically abusing his wife. These revelations cast doubt on the narrative that Garcia is a victim of bureaucratic error, instead suggesting that the administration’s deportation efforts are targeting individuals who pose a genuine threat.

The Trump administration’s supporters see this saga as emblematic of a larger struggle: a fight to restore order and protect communities from the chaos wrought by lax immigration policies. Homan’s outspokenness resonates with those who believe the administration is taking a principled stand against gang violence, even in the face of fierce opposition from Democrats, activist groups, and certain judicial rulings. The administration’s willingness to challenge court orders and push back against international pressure signals a commitment to prioritizing American safety.

For now, the administration’s focus on deporting dangerous individuals like Garcia stands as a testament to its resolve, largely being uninterested in engaging in debates over whether or not a gang member should be deported. The American people have mostly decided this issue is a non-issue for them to begin with. Illegal immigration has been left unchecked for far too long in the eyes of most Americans.
