Vice President JD Vance didn’t mince words this weekend when he called out the utter mayhem gripping Minneapolis.
As radical leftists clashed with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers, Vance spotlighted how this mess is no accident—it’s a calculated storm brewed by extremists and their allies in power.
“This level of engineered chaos is unique to Minneapolis. It is the direct consequence of far left agitators, working with local authorities,” Vance posted on social media, hitting the nail on the head about who’s really pulling the strings here.
The spark that ignited this latest explosion happened Saturday when a Border Patrol agent was forced into a life-or-death situation. An armed suspect lunged at federal officers, leading to a defensive shooting that sent the city spiraling further into disorder.
Breitbart News detailed the frenzy: “What began as a rapid gathering of onlookers quickly devolved into a volatile confrontation, with agitators blocking roads, surrounding vehicles, and forcing federal officers into defensive positions amid a fast-escalating wave of unrest.”
“The riot broke out after federal agents shot an armed man near a local donut shop, Breitbart News’s AWR Hawkins reported. Officials said the agents were ‘conducting a targeted operation in Minneapolis against an illegal alien wanted for violent assault.’ The report says the man approached the agents with a 9mm handgun,” the outlet stated.
Homeland Security brass explained that the agents attempted to subdue and disarm him without firepower, but his fierce resistance left them no choice. One officer opened fire in self-defense, ending the immediate threat.
Adding to the barbarity, around the same time, a federal agent suffered a gruesome injury at the hands of one of these so-called protesters, according to Breitbart News. An alleged rioter bit off the agent’s finger, showcasing the savage tactics these crowds are willing to employ.
President Donald Trump jumped into the fray with his trademark straight talk on Truth Social, linking the riots to deeper corruption in the Democrat stronghold of Minnesota.
He didn’t hold back, questioning if all this violence is just smoke and mirrors to hide massive fraud. Trump blasted the local leaders for fanning the flames instead of dousing them.
“Much of what you’re witnessing is a COVER UP for this Theft and Fraud. The Mayor and the Governor are inciting Insurrection, with their pompous, dangerous, and arrogant rhetoric! Instead, these sanctimonious political fools should be looking for the Billions of Dollars that has been stolen from the people of Minnesota, and the United States of America,” Trump declared.
Shifting gears, the president praised the brave ICE teams doing the dirty work to keep Americans safe.
He reminded everyone of the real stakes in this fight against unchecked borders.
“LET OUR ICE PATRIOTS DO THEIR JOB! 12,000 Illegal Alien Criminals, many of them violent, have been arrested and taken out of Minnesota. If they were still there, you would see something far worse than you are witnessing today!” he wrapped up, driving home the point that without these crackdowns, the streets would be even more dangerous.
