Democrat stuns all with a call for the assassination of one Republican

Political violence is never right. But the Left doesn’t seem to care.

And now this Democrat stunned all with a call for the assassination of one Republican.

The Perils of Violent Political Rhetoric

In today’s heated political climate, calls for violence— even when framed as exaggeration or hyperbole—cross a dangerous line that no society committed to democracy can afford to ignore.

Left-wing streamer Hasan Piker recently made a chilling suggestion during a livestream, declaring: “if you cared about Medicare fraud or Medicaid fraud, you would k-ll Rick Scott.”

Florida Senator Rick Scott (R) wasted no time in condemning the statement, highlighting how such words erode civil discourse and risk real-world consequences. On Fox News Sunday, Scott responded directly: “He wants me k-lled. He wants every capitalist m*rdered.”

Rejecting Hatred and Division

Piker’s comment did not occur in isolation. The streamer has a history of provocative statements, including past remarks claiming America “deserved 9/11” and other inflammatory positions that have drawn widespread criticism. Scott tied the rhetoric to broader concerns, accusing certain elements within the Democratic orbit of tolerating or even amplifying such extremism.

He stated plainly: “The Democrat Party supports this stuff.” Scott further argued against taxpayer support for institutions that platform voices advocating violence, specifically calling out Yale University for inviting Piker to speak:

“Yale, if they want to go support somebody that wants to be a capitalist m*rdered in this country, right, so I don’t want them to get any federal funding. I mean, it’s pretty simple to me. They shouldn’t be doing this.”

Scott emphasized the principle at stake: “There’s no way my taxpayer money from Florida should be going to these places” that “support people that want to m*rder me and m*rder capitalists and are antisemitic and say that Americans deserve 9/11.”

Why Political Violence Must Be Unacceptable

Regardless of policy disagreements—whether over healthcare, fraud accountability, or ideology—resorting to or joking about assassination, m*rder, or harm has no place in American politics.

True debate strengthens democracy; threats and eliminationist language weaken it and endanger lives.

Sen. Scott’s pushback serves as a reminder that leaders across the spectrum have a responsibility to denounce violence unequivocally. When public figures or online influencers normalize the idea of k-lling political opponents, it doesn’t just harm the targeted individual—it poisons the entire public square and invites escalation that no one should welcome.

America thrives when disagreements stay within the bounds of peaceful, lawful contest. Rejecting calls to “k-ll” anyone, no matter how heated the rhetoric, remains essential to preserving a free and stable society.
