Here’s the line that should make every red-blooded American’s blood run cold: the congressional commission says China is building a force “capable of fighting and winning a war against the United States”—even without having as many nukes as the U.S. does.
And they’re not stopping at nukes. China just unveiled an AI-driven electronic warfare monster that can reach out and blind American radars all the way to Guam, the Marshall Islands, and Alaska.
In mid-2025 they started deploying 6G-based platforms that let them jam U.S. systems, spoof U.S. missiles, and coordinate attacks in real time. They call it “intelligentized warfare.”
The commission warns that with these advances, Beijing can act “quickly and decisively in a crisis,” leaving America and its allies scrambling with almost zero warning time.
Speaking of Taiwan, the report drops another hammer: Congress needs to force the Pentagon to admit whether the U.S. can actually defend the island anymore, even if Russia, Iran, and North Korea all pile on at the same time.
If China moves on Taiwan, kiss 10% of global GDP goodbye—bigger than the 2008 crash—and that’s before anyone pushes the nuclear button. The report calls the risk “cataclysmic.”
China’s sitting on 600 warheads today and racing toward 1,000 by 2030, per the Pentagon.
And while they build bombs, they’re also choking America economically—controlling the semiconductors, rare earths, and circuit boards the military literally can’t function without.
America is, in the report’s own words, “reliant on its rival for the backbone of its modern economy and military.”
The commission threw down 28 recommendations, and every patriot should be screaming for them to pass tomorrow: ban Chinese components from the power grid before they flip the switch and black out half the country.
Create a real economic agency that actually enforces export controls instead of potentially waving them through. And tell the world loud and clear that Taiwan is not alone—including keeping their alliance with the Vatican that Beijing desperately wants to crush.
The report’s final warning couldn’t be starker: “China’s rapid military and economic mobilization shortens U.S. warning timelines.”
This isn’t fear-mongering. This is Congress telling us China is gearing up to fight and win a war.
