The president has been lurking in the shadows after being ousted by Kamala. But now he’s been thrust straight into the spotlight.
And Biden collapsed on camera in a terrifying turn of events.
President Biden’s latest struggle with the sand near his Delaware beach house on Sunday is yet another reminder of his fragility and declining health.
Caught on camera, Biden, 81, was repeatedly off-balance and needed an assist from first lady Jill Biden just to navigate the uneven shoreline, raising questions about his capability to lead.
In the footage from Rehoboth Beach, Biden was shown unsteady on his feet, just days after Kamala Harris’s loss to former—and soon-to-be returning—President Donald Trump.
At one point, the first lady grasped his arm to steady him, and Biden seemed to quicken his steps, though he was visibly shaky, toward reporters who were shouting questions about his upcoming meeting with Trump on Wednesday.
A Republican National Committee account quickly jumped in, tweeting:
“Biden is currently battling the sand at his beach house in Delaware. The sand is winning.”

Dressed in jeans, a dark sweater, a ball cap, and sunglasses, Biden managed only a single, barely audible word toward the reporters before retreating to a nearby parking lot, sidestepping any answers, according to a press report.
Earlier in the outing, Biden paused to check his phone while Jill walked ahead along the water’s edge.
The couple returned to the White House shortly after.
Biden’s diminishing physical and mental condition has been a long-standing concern, and his recent stumbles only intensify those worries.
Over his tenure, he’s faced an onslaught of public doubts about his stamina, with verbal slip-ups and moments of confusion now common.
Concerns escalated after his weak showing in a summer debate against Trump, casting a shadow over his leadership and ultimately prompting him to withdraw from his re-election bid, throwing his support behind Harris under heavy party pressure.
And we all saw how that worked out – Kamala was steamrolled in nearly every metric imaginable.
Despite not being able to run for a second term, Biden may take some solace in seeing the woman who forced him out suffering a historic defeat.
