The new GOP majority in the U.S. House of Representatives means Biden is walking on thin ice. His schemes will be under a closer watch than ever before.
That’s why Biden nearly fainted when he heard what this major Republican just said on CNN.
When the Hunter Biden laptop story hit the public right before the 2020 election, it was certainly going to shake things up in Washington, D.C.
That’s precisely why social media giants like Facebook literally made an effort to suppress the story ahead of the November elections that year.
The simple truth is that Americans don’t like seeing powerful D.C. families like the Bidens get away with crimes that the average Joe would go to prison for.
Democrats avoided the story like the plague and simply never looked under the rock of Hunter Biden’s business dealings whatsoever.
House Republicans, however, have been saying for months that they intend to open the closets of the Bidens and see what skeletons they can find.
And now that they have secured control of the U.S. House when the new members roll in come January, that seems to be right on the horizon.
Representative James Comer (R-KY) recently went on CNN to note that the Republicans are already planning to subpoena Hunter Biden.
Comer did say that while there are no plans at this time to subpoena Joe Biden, he made it very clear that it’s a possibility if they don’t like what they find during their investigations.
“There’s no plans to subpoena Joe Biden. There are plans to subpoena Hunter Biden,” Comer said on CNN.
“This committee will evaluate whether this president is compromised or swayed by foreign dollars,” Comer clarified. He added that “this is an investigation of Joe Biden.”
These investigative measures come as leaks have indicated that Joe Biden very well have been aware of the Hunter Biden business crimes and may have even had a hand in them.
Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) has noted that Joe Biden was made “aware of Hunter Biden’s business arrangements and may have been involved in some of them,” according to leaks from whistleblowers.
Comer emphasized in the interview with CNN that the investigations are not to harass Hunter Biden or the Biden family at all and that it is to investigate whether the sitting President of the United States was affiliated with any unlawful practices and potentially lied about it.
“We’re not trying to prove Hunter Biden is a bad actor,” Comer added.
“Our investigation is of Joe Biden,” Comer finished.
This should worry the living daylights out of Joe Biden and the rest of the White House.
Joe Biden is already extremely unpopular with the American people and if Republicans uncover that the sitting President broke the law in cooperation with his son, it will be the end of the road for him.
It won’t only be the end of the road for the Bidens either, the Democrats will be done for in 2024.
A lot hangs in the balance regarding these investigations, so hopefully, they are conducted fairly. And if there’s wrongdoing on the part of any Biden family member, it will be brought to light.
