CNN is left speechless by what Donald Trump just shoved in their face

The mainstream media is in hysteria. They can’t believe Trump won.

And now CNN is left speechless by what Donald Trump just shoved in their face.

CNN’s senior data reporter Harry Enten has broken down the numbers, showcasing the remarkable strength of President-elect Donald Trump’s historic victory on Election Day.

In Friday’s episode of CNN News Central, Enten highlighted Trump’s massive gains, explaining that the former president achieved the largest improvement over his previous performance for any Republican candidate since 1992.

“When was the last time a party gained in so many different places?” Enten asked. “You have to go all the way back to 1992 when Bill Clinton improved on Michael Dukakis’ performance in 49 states, plus the District of Columbia.”

Trump’s gains, like Clinton’s, spanned almost the entire country — a rarity in modern American politics.

Enten was clearly impressed, marveling, “Donald Trump’s performance on Tuesday was the best for a Republican presidential candidate in exit poll history. He literally goes all the way back through history and breaks history.”

According to Enten’s analysis, Trump improved the Republican vote share across 49 states and Washington, D.C., falling short of 2020’s numbers only in Washington state.

Highlighting the scale of Trump’s success, Enten added:

“The breadth of the improvement that Donald Trump had – Holy Toledo!” Speaking to CNN anchor Kate Bolduan, he continued, “The bottom line is, no matter where you looked on the map, Kate Bolduan, no matter where you looked, Donald Trump was improving on where he did four years ago, except for Washington state.”

Trump’s popularity was so widespread that, as Enten noted, he’s set to be the first Republican to win the popular vote since George W. Bush in 2004.

Trump’s reach extended far beyond traditional GOP strongholds, with significant inroads among young voters, Black voters, and Hispanic voters — groups where Republicans typically struggle.

“Oh my goodness gracious, these are the types of groups you never would’ve thought that Donald Trump would’ve gained so much support among eight years ago when he first won against Hillary Clinton,” Enten remarked.

His gains among 18-to-29-year-olds marked the best GOP performance in twenty years.

With Black voters, it was the strongest showing in 48 years, dating back to Gerald Ford in 1976.

And for Hispanic voters, Trump set a new bar, delivering the best GOP results since exit polling began tracking this demographic in 1972.

In summary, Enten emphasized the depth of Trump’s achievement:

“Donald Trump’s performance on Tuesday was the best for a Republican presidential candidate in exit poll history. He literally goes all the way back through history and breaks history.”

Enten’s analysis underscores Trump’s unique ability to energize a broad coalition, even in areas that have traditionally eluded Republicans.
