Elon Musk has made major waves since buying out Twitter and taking it private. Many on the Left are worried their Big Tech censorship system will be destroyed.
And Democrats are having a total meltdown after losing this war against Trump.
Democrats and the Big Tech social media giants have been in bed with each other for years.
Even Mark Zuckerberg, who runs Facebook, admitted to colluding with the FBI to suppress information on the Hunter Biden laptop story.
But Facebook never went as far as Twitter did. In the lead-up to the 2020 presidential election, Twitter suspended the New York Post’s account to silence their exposé on the Biden family.
And after Joe Biden took office, they swiftly banned Donald Trump from the platform along with big names in the conservative movement like Project Veritas.
This was too much for Elon Musk, who has framed himself as a free speech “absolutist.”
After fronting over $40 billion to acquire the social media titan, Musk has instituted a flurry of changes.
He has slashed Twitter’s workforce, changed how accounts are verified, and promised to bring back people wrongly banned from the platform.
His biggest move came this past Friday when he announced that Donald Trump had been unbanned from Twitter.
Musk’s announcement comes after over 15 million people participated in a non-scientific poll he uploaded to his account asking if Trump should be reinstated.
According to the poll results, 51.8% said “yes,” while 48.2% said “no.”

“The people have spoken,” Musk wrote on Twitter. “Trump will be reinstated.”
Even though Trump is unbanned, the former president has indicated repeatedly that he will not return to the platform.
When news came in April that Musk was planning to buy Twitter and take it private, Trump said that he would not return.
“I hope Elon buys Twitter because he’ll make improvements to it and he is a good man, but I am going to be staying on Truth,” Trump said. “The bottom line is, no, I am not going back to Twitter.”
Last month, Trump said that Twitter could not be “successful” without him and that he would not return to the network.
“I am staying on Truth. I like it better, I like the way it works, I like Elon, but I’m staying on Truth,” Trump said late last month. “If I choose to run, I will only use Truth.”
There are also contractual issues with Trump’s use of Twitter.
According to a filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission, Trump agreed to post all of his posts on Truth Social first and must wait at least six hours before posting the same message on other social media platforms.
Regardless of Trump’s presence or absence on the platform, Democrats are in a total meltdown over their censorship regime coming to an end.
