Trump is putting all his cards on the table. He’s ready to protect the U.S. by any means necessary.
And Donald Trump made a nuclear announcement that has America’s enemies on edge.
President Donald Trump just lit a fire under the global nuclear game. On Wednesday, he blasted out the truth: America is cranking up its nuclear weapons testing to match the sneaky programs run by Russia, China, and the rest of the pack. No more playing nice while they build in the shadows.
“The United States has more Nuclear Weapons than any other country,” the president declared on Truth Social.
“This was accomplished, including a complete update and renovation of existing weapons, during my First Term. Because of other countries [sic] testing programs, I have instructed the Department of War to start testing our Nuclear Weapons on an equal basis.”
In a hard-hitting video, Trump laid it out plain: “Because of the tremendous destructive power, I hated to do it, having to do with nuclear weapons, but I really had no choice. Russia is second in line, and China is a distant third, but will be even within five years.”
The commander-in-chief doesn’t want this escalation. But when Putin and Xi are pushing buttons in secret, what choice does he have? Trump’s not letting America get caught flat-footed again.
This move cranks up the pressure Trump has already been applying. He’s been warning about U.S. intel showing Russia and China running wild with tests.
Remember that explosive 60 Minutes interview over the weekend? Trump called it straight: “Russia’s testing nuclear weapons. And China’s testing them too. You just don’t know about it.”
He nailed the double standard. “Russia’s testing, and China’s testing, but they don’t talk about it. You know, we’re an open society. We’re different. We talk about it. We have to talk about it, because otherwise you people are going to report.”
Trump didn’t stop there. He exposed the full rogue’s gallery: North Korea and Pakistan are in on the testing action too.
These regimes laugh at treaties like the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban. They’ve been mocking America for years, building arsenals while Biden slept and Obama apologized.
Now Russia’s barking back, proving Trump’s point. Putin huddled with his Security Council on Wednesday, whining that they’ve followed the rules, but now they’re looking into tests because of Trump’s words.
Dmitry Medvedev, that tough-talking deputy chair of Russia’s Security Council, fired off on X:
“No one knows what Trump meant about ‘nuclear testing’ (he probably doesn’t himself). But he’s the president of the United States.”
“And the consequences of such words are inescapable: Russia will be forced to assess the expediency of conducting full-fledged nuclear tests itself.”
Trump’s announcement has them scrambling, admitting they’re cornered. This is what real leadership does – it forces enemies to show their hands.
America First means nuclear supremacy, period. Trump rebuilt our stockpile once, and now he’s ensuring no communist dictator or tsar wannabe catches up. This isn’t warmongering; it’s peace through strength.
