The radical Left has gone too far this time. And the Governor from Texas is taking a stand.
Because Greg Abbott has smacked Joe Biden and the Democrats with this stern warning.
Hilton has cancelled a conference next week that planned to feature Representative Rashida Tlaib as the featured speaker, and on Tuesday, Governor Greg Abbott of Texas praised the hotel chain for doing so.
This was the national conference of the U.S. Campaign for Palestinian Rights, and the subject was “Seize the Moment.”
The program manages to be anti-Semitic and anti-American at the same time when it says, “Together we’re building toward a vibrant future where all are free, in defiance of Israeli repression and U.S. imperialism.”
The top brass at Hilton, however, determined now was not the time to hold the conference because of the ongoing war in the Middle East, which was sparked by the Palestinian terrorist organization Hamas and its terrible k*lling of more than a thousand Israelis in a horrific surprise attack on October 7.
The Hilton Houston-Post Oak by the Galleria, located near the city’s enormous The Galleria shopping mall, was supposed to host the conference from October 27-29.
Some of the most prominent anti-Semites in contemporary American society were set to speak, including Representative Rashida Tlaib and CNN commentator Marc Lamont Hill.
Abbott praised the decision to cancel, saying that the Campaign for Palestinian Rights promotes “antisemitism like that supported by Hamas.”

The decision was made when conservative activist Laura Loomer encouraged her massive social media following to call Hilton to complain, as reported by the Houston Chronicle.
“Loomer claimed, without evidence, that the organization supports terrorism,” the Chronicle wrote. They added that, “other, smaller conservative accounts posted similar calls to action.”
That “without evidence” caveat that always seems to be added to news stories concerning claims made by people who aren’t on the political Left is hilarious.
There is a reasonable amount of evidence to believe that the USPCR had some degree of sympathy for anti-Semitic causes.
Among other embarrassing acts, Tlaib has submitted a resolution to have the United States Congress acknowledge a Palestinian day of mourning for the foundation of the Jewish state in 1948.
Hill, a former CNN spokesperson and current lecturer at City University of New York, set fire to his career by mimicking Hamas’ policy at the United Nations, saying that “from the river to the sea, Palestine must be free.”
Simply looking at a map and realizing that “river” refers to the Jordan and “sea” refers to the Mediterranean demonstrates that “Palestine must be free,” effectively eradicating the state of Israel, which has existed for 75 years.
According to a statement released to KHOU-TV in Houston, Hilton decided against holding the conference because of security concerns.
A key part of the statement read, “The safety and security of our Team Members and guests is our top priority,” as reported by KHOU.
The “current environment” was created by the horrific acts of violence committed by members of Hamas against Israelis, therefore it was perhaps prudent for the hotel chain to cancel a meeting for a group that marches in lockstep with Hamas.
The fact that some Leftists in the media can’t see how reasonable that is just goes to show you how insane the radical Left has become.
