The ladies of The View have Trump Derangement Syndrome. They might never be cured of it.
And a host of The View melted down over what this NFL star did with Trump.
Joy Behar has never hidden her contempt for President Trump. Yet the aging television personality just proved she cannot even tolerate anyone who dares to show him basic respect on stage.
Earlier this week, The View co-host launched into a tirade against New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart.
Dart’s crime? Introducing the President at a recent event in New York. Behar warned that such a move would alienate Dart from his black teammates and players across the league. She even suggested he might need special protection from the backlash.
The whole episode unfolded when Dart stepped up to introduce Trump at a New York community college.
Dart kicked things off with local flavor, telling the crowd, “Big Blue nation, it’s a pleasure to be here. I gotta start this off with a ‘Go Big Blue [chant].’”
Trump responded warmly, saying, “I want to thank Jaxson Dart, this is going to be a future Hall of Famer in my book. Thank you, thank you, Jaxson. Lot of talent.”
Instead of respecting a young athlete exercising his own judgment, Behar unloaded.
She dredged up decades-old claims against Trump, accusing him of everything from housing discrimination in the 1970s to attacking DEI policies.
For Behar, simply standing next to Trump makes someone guilty by association. She painted Dart’s decision as a betrayal of his teammates.
Behar declared, “For somebody to back a guy like Trump whose history, and discrimination, and racism goes back to housing discrimination in the ’70s and DEI attacks and posting pictures of the Obamas as apes.”
Her attack grew even more pointed when she brought up NFL roster numbers.
Behar claimed Dart was acting against the interests of the majority of players in the league.
She stated, “When [Dart’s] on a team that’s 55% to 60% of the NFL… of black guys. That is just the definition of stupidity and racism.”
Then came the ugly jab. Behar said, “Maybe he needs a little extra padding.”
The clear implication was that Dart deserved rough treatment from opponents angry over his support for the President.
This outburst reveals the nasty intolerance baked into elite media circles. Behar and her crowd demand total conformity.
Any deviation, especially support for Trump, gets treated as treason against certain identity groups.
