One whistleblower just blew the Hunter Biden case wide open

The Biden family has been running for far too long. Now their secrets are finally out.

And one whistleblower just blew the Hunter Biden case wide open.

The CIA prevented federal investigators from interrogating a key witness in the tax fraud case involving President Biden’s son Hunter Biden.

That is the assertion of a whistleblower who made the shocking allegation to House legislators probing the president’s role in his son’s economic ventures.

Patrick Kevin Morris, a Hollywood lawyer and a close buddy of Hunter Biden, testified that he financed the president’s son over $7 million to help him pay back taxes, housing, and other expenditures.

The IRS planned to interview Mr. Morris in August 2021 as part of its investigation into Hunter Biden’s unpaid taxes.

The CIA intervened to halt the interview, lawmakers said Wednesday.

Two Justice Department officials assigned to the investigation were summoned to the CIA’s Langley, Virginia, headquarters prior to their interview with Mr. Morris.

“At that meeting, it was communicated that Mr. Morris could not be a witness during the investigation,” House lawmakers said in a letter sent Wednesday to CIA Director William J. Burns.

The top Republicans on the House Judiciary and Oversight and Accountability committees, Jim Jordan of Ohio and James Comer of Kentucky, respectively, said they don’t know why the CIA intervened, but it’s consistent with other Biden administration efforts to thwart the president’s son’s investigation, which were exposed by two IRS whistleblowers.

President Biden has frequently denied involvement in his family’s business dealings and any impropriety involving his son.

Mr. Jordan and Mr. Comer gave Mr. Burns until April 4 to turn over records relating to the Hunter Biden inquiry and those related to Mr. Morris, “including but not limited to efforts to interview Mr. Morris as part of the investigation” of Hunter Biden.

A CIA representative stated that the agency does not comment on specific investigations.

“We can say that CIA cooperates with law enforcement partners and does not obstruct investigations. CIA also fully and routinely cooperates with our oversight committees and will continue to do so,” the spokeswoman said.

In December, Hunter Biden was charged with tax fraud and filing fake returns. He is accused of failing to pay at least $1.4 million in taxes between 2016 and 2019 and dodging taxes in 2018 by filing fake forms.

Two IRS whistleblowers claim Justice Department officials slowed down the investigation and prevented them from following witnesses, leads, and evidence, some of which showed Mr. Biden’s involvement in his son’s business dealings.

Mr. Morris refers to Hunter Biden as a personal buddy.

This year, lawmakers conducted a closed-door deposition with Mr. Morris.

He told them Hunter Biden gave him a tour of the White House, invited him to a wedding at the White House and took him to the White House Fourth of July picnic.
