Radical leftist candidate accused of a heinous crime

This Democrat’s career may be over. Everything is coming crashing down for him.

And a radical leftist candidate has been accused of a heinous crime.

In a stunning television moment that cuts to the heart of character and trust in our political system, a Maine woman stepped forward to expose the disturbing past of Graham Platner, the Democrat running for U.S. Senate.

Jenny Racicot, a 41-year-old who once dated Platner per reports, appeared on CNN’s The Lead to share her painful account of an alleged s*xual assault in 2021. This revelation raises serious questions about the judgment of voters and the standards Democrats apply to their own candidates.

Racicot did not mince words when detailing the encounter. She described how Platner entered her home against her wishes and ignored her clear refusals.

The interview laid bare the raw trauma she endured, painting a picture of a man who allegedly disregarded boundaries in the most intimate and violent way possible.

Host Jake Tapper pressed for clarity on the gravity of the claims. When asked directly if Platner should face consequences at the ballot box, Racicot responded:

“I’m not going to go as far as to say that. I’m just here to tell my story, to give a clear picture of who he is and the type of past that he has. And, I just think it’s fair to the democratic process to let people know who they’re voting for.”

Her courage in coming forward after years of silence highlights the heavy personal toll these experiences take on victims.

Racicot explained the difficulty of revisiting the events publicly, yet she pushed through to ensure Mainers had full information before heading to the polls.

Tapper did not shy away from blunt questioning:

“Did Graham Platner r*pe you?”

Racicot answered firmly: “By definition? Yes, Absolutely.”

She confirmed the assault involved non-consensual s*x where Platner forced himself upon her despite her resistance.

“Even after you had told him no. And fought him off,” Tapper continued.

Racicot affirmed the details, noting multiple violations that night:

“He violated multiple layers of consent that night by coming into my home, when I asked him not to. And by advancing on me when I told him not to. And — and furthermore, another incident that I had told him not to do.”

This case strikes at the core of what many working-class Americans demand from leaders: basic decency and respect for others, especially women.

For too long, certain political circles have shielded their favorites from scrutiny while weaponizing similar accusations against opponents.
