Joe Biden is off his rocker. His recent speech denouncing anyone who supports Donald Trump as “extremists” is just the latest example.
But he wasn’t ready to be demolished by Ron DeSantis with these two simple words.
Ron DeSantis has been a major thorn in the side of the radical Left for years now.
And his no-holds-barred style of governing Florida has made him a rockstar in the conservative movement.
Whether it was going against federal COVID mandates to shutter businesses and send the elderly to nursing homes to die or tackling the brainwashing of children in K-12 public schools with critical race theory and gender ideology, no one can doubt his credentials.
That’s why Democrats hate nothing more than when he turns his crosshairs on them.
And that’s just what he did after Joe Biden’s shocking speech.
Biden accused Donald Trump and anyone who supports him of destroying democracy and being radical political partisans.
He even charged Republicans with attempting to steal the 2022 and 2024 elections coming up.
His hypocrisy is laughable.
In one breath, they say voicing concerns over the rampant change in election laws in 2020 is election denying treason to the Left, but in the other breath they trumpet that Republicans are stealing the election.
And Ron DeSantis wasted no time labelling Biden the “American Nero,” referencing the Roman tyrant.
“I thought it was one of the most disgusting speeches an American President has ever given. He ran as being a unifier, and he’s basically saying to the vast majority of the country that disapproves of him that they’re effectively a threat to the public,” DeSantis said on Fox New Channel’s Ingraham Angle.
When asked why Biden would come out swinging against everyday Americans like this, DeSantis argued it was a last-ditch attempt to rally his base before the November elections.
“I think that he is doing this because he’s trying to energize his base to fend off a real butt whippin’ this November,” DeSantis said.
Though DeSantis noted that Biden poorly attempted to make amends for his demonization of tens of millions of Americans, he pointed out that his PR time obviously didn’t get the memo.
“They’re tweeting from his account the same nasty stuff that he said last night. And so I think the people that are in control of the White House want to drive this message that people who dissent from his policies are somehow second-class citizens.”
Comments like these are a huge reason why many see Ron DeSantis as a frontrunner for the Republican nomination in 2024.
Biden has already proven that he is an incompetent public speaker, debater, and president.
And with his approval ratings in the dumpster with 54.8% of all Americans disapproving of his presidency, it doesn’t look like it would be much of a fight for DeSantis in 2024.
