Ron DeSantis took to the stage and eviscerated Joe Biden with just three words

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has quickly become the Democrats’ worst nightmare. Now DeSantis has Joe Biden in his sights.

Because Ron DeSantis took to the stage and completely obliterated Joe Biden with just three words.

It’s obvious to many that the GOP has a dire need for strong leadership that isn’t willing to sellout their conservative base for backdoor Washington, D.C. “Swamp” deals.

Gone are the days when the likes of Mitt Romney or John McCain could win a GOP Presidential nomination while standing for next to no conservative principles whatsoever.

Donald Trump came along and changed the way we view all our politicians, not just Republicans.

Today, American citizens have largely grown tired of the big government establishment that has dominated Washington, D.C. and politics in general for so long.

Some Democrats and Republicans have picked up on that and changed their tune. Just consider how Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is always at war with her own party in the name of “progressivism.”

Or how Ted Cruz started to embrace a more liberty-minded minded brand of conservatism since 2018, seeing how well it worked for Donald Trump in 2016.

But largely, nothing has changed the status quo in the Washington, D.C. Swamp, and that’s evidenced by the fact that the Democrats in cooperation with a couple dozen RINOs in Congress just passed an eye-watering $1.7 trillion bill full of district kickbacks wasting taxpayer dollars.

As a result, focus for conservatives has shifted to the States to defend their liberties and protect American prosperity.

The simple reality is that no one has done this better than Florida’s Republican Governor Ron DeSantis.

DeSantis in his re-inauguration speech blasted the federal government establishment under Joe Biden’s “leadership”, calling it the “floundering federal establishment.”

He would go on to say that they are making a “mockery of the rule of law” “importing criminal aliens.”

“Now Florida’s success has been made more difficult by the floundering federal establishment in Washington, D.C.” Ron DeSantis said in his speech.

“The federal government has gone on an inflationary spending binge that has left our nation weaker and our citizens poorer, it has enacted pandemic restrictions and mandates — based more on ideology and politics than on sound science — and this has eroded freedom and stunted commerce.

“It has recklessly facilitated open borders: making a mockery of the rule of law, allowing massive amounts of narcotics to infest our states, importing criminal aliens, and green lighting the flow of millions of illegal aliens into our country, burdening communities and taxpayers throughout the land,” DeSantis continued.

He explains after he ripped Joe Biden a new one that success and freedom are “worth fighting for” and that we can maintain it.

“Decline is a choice. Success is attainable. And freedom is worth fighting for,” DeSantis added.

“Now fighting for freedom is not easy because the threats to freedom are more complex and more widespread than in the past… But fight we must,” he added.

DeSantis is completely right, and he’s proving it.

Earlier in his speech, DeSantis listed off a number of incredible achievements for the state of Florida that are largely attributable to the leadership of DeSantis in defending economic freedom, parental freedom, and American prosperity in general.

DeSantis noted that Florida is number one in all these categories:

  • Net In-Migration
  • Growth
  • Business Formations
  • Tourism
  • Economic Freedom
  • Education Freedom
  • Parental Involvement in Education
  • Public Higher Education

There’s no denying the results. Florida has suddenly skyrocketed into the most desirable state overall in the nation.

That’s what freedom-defending leadership will do.
