Secret Service agent for Kamala Harris goes rogue to do the unconscionable

Usually the Secret Service stays out of headlines. But one agent has gone off the rails.

Because Kamala Harris’ personal Secret Service agent just went rogue to do the unthinkable.

Recently, a Secret Service agent assigned to the protection of Vice President Kamala Harris got into a fight with his own supervisor when at an airbase. That happened back in April this year, but now Congress is getting involved in the investigation of the aftermath.

Secret Service Briefing to Address Concerns Over Incident Involving Vice President Harris’ Detail

In response to recent concerns, the U.S. Secret Service will provide a bipartisan briefing to Congress addressing training and recruitment issues. This comes after an incident involving an agent on Vice President Kamala Harris’ protective detail, who attacked her supervisor. The briefing is scheduled for June 21 and follows a request from House Oversight and Accountability Chairman James Comer, R-Ky.

A Secret Service spokesperson confirmed to Fox News Digital, “In response to the letter received from Chairman James Comer, the U.S. Secret Service will comply with the House Oversight Committee’s request for a briefing on the topics outlined in the publicly available letter dated May 30, 2024.”

Chairman Comer’s letter was directed to U.S. Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle, an appointee of President Biden. In the letter, Comer detailed the incident: “It was recently reported that a Secret Service agent, tasked with protecting Vice President Kamala Harris, physically attacked her superior (and the commanding agent in charge) and other agents trying to subdue her while on duty at Joint Base Andrews and assigned to the Vice President’s protective detail.”

The Secret Service has verified that the altercation took place around 9 a.m. on April 22 at Joint Base Andrews in Prince George’s County, Maryland. The agent involved was subsequently taken away in handcuffs and has since been removed from the vice president’s detail. The Secret Service has referred to the incident as a “medical matter.”

A petition circulating within the agency, reportedly signed by Secret Service personnel, suggests this may not have been an isolated event. The petition, which calls for a congressional investigation, points to issues with inadequate training and inconsistencies in disciplinary actions.

Comer’s letter raised concerns about the hiring and screening processes within the Secret Service, especially considering whether previous incidents in the agent’s work history were overlooked. The letter suggests that staff shortages might have led the agency to lower its standards, as part of a broader diversity, equity, and inclusion initiative.

Although Comer requested a briefing for committee staff by June 13, the Secret Service briefing will occur a few days later.

The Secret Service, responsible for protecting the president, the vice president, and their families, has faced scrutiny following the incident. RealClearPolitics reported that the agent was acting “erratically” and had punched the commanding agent in charge.

The altercation at Joint Base Andrews, which serves as the transportation hub for Air Force One and Air Force Two, did not affect Vice President Harris’ travel plans, as she was at the vice president’s residence at the Naval Observatory when it occurred.

Since the news of the altercation went public, there’s been criticism growing that so-called “Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion” (DEI) is responsible for the lowering of standards for critical Secret Service positions, like one set to serve alongside the Vice President of the United States.

At one point, the Secret Service and the FBI (which tend to work closely together) were respected agencies of the U.S. federal government in the eyes of the American public. Today, that’s completely changed. More and more Americans believe that these two agencies don’t act in the best interests of America or are remotely run well anymore.

In fact, there’s been growing concerns that the American people have been lied to or at least misled about how the FBI and the Secret Service were involved in the January 6, 2021 events that the radical Left has been obsessed with for more than three years now.
