The Democrats are done licking their wounds. Now they’re concocting devious plans.
And this Supreme Court leak even details how Democrats are planning to steal control of the country from Trump.
Donald Trump and the Republicans had a big 2024 election cycle that earned them control of the White House, the U.S. Senate, and the U.S. House of Representatives. Combine this with the fact that the U.S. Supreme Court has a 6-3 conservative majority, and Donald Trump and his allies are set to start passing laws and making real change all over the country.
Democrats are looking to undercut the results of the election, though. How do they plan to do that? They are reportedly putting all their eggs in the basket of taking back control of State Supreme Courts all over the country so their far-Left Justices can be installed and get in the way of any legislation being passed from Republican legislators.
Republican Party Raises New Concerns Of Democrats Assuming Supreme Court Control
The Republican State Leadership Committee (RSLC) is raising alarms over the increasing financial influence that Democratic-aligned groups are expected to bring to state supreme court races in 2025. These elections, set to take place in the crucial battleground states of Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, hold the potential to shape political dynamics for years to come, especially with redistricting on the horizon.
Through its Judicial Fairness Initiative (JFI), the RSLC has been working tirelessly to support conservative judicial candidates nationwide. As part of its efforts, the committee is emphasizing the importance of the upcoming Pennsylvania and Wisconsin state supreme court elections, both of which will play a pivotal role in the future of redistricting at both state and federal levels. A new video released by the RSLC highlights the stakes in these races, warning that the success of Democratic candidates could shift the balance of power in these courts, opening the door to a prolonged influence over future redistricting efforts that would benefit Left-wing priorities.
The RSLC is particularly concerned that if Republicans fail to secure these judicial seats, liberal courts could overrule Republican-led state legislatures, not only affecting redistricting but also making it harder for conservatives to enact policy changes. Democratic control of these courts could lead to the judicial system becoming a political tool for advancing liberal agendas in both Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.
“The battle to defend the judiciary from radical left-wing influence is intensifying,” said Edith Jorge-Tuñón, president of the Judicial Fairness Initiative. “In 2024, conservative judges benefited from historic enthusiasm, but the challenge ahead is growing. National liberal groups are expected to pour substantial resources into these races. But the RSLC’s Judicial Fairness Initiative is ready to counteract this influence and support candidates who will uphold the rule of law.”
Jorge-Tuñón further emphasized the high stakes of the upcoming elections, stating, “We will be making a significant investment in these races to ensure we win, as the outcome will determine the direction of redistricting for the next decade.”
In Pennsylvania, the current Democratic majority on the state supreme court, which holds a 5-2 advantage, faces a critical test in 2025 with three Democratic justices up for reelection. A shift in the court’s composition could have significant consequences for future legislative battles and redistricting efforts.
Meanwhile, in Wisconsin, the dynamics are slightly different but no less significant. While state supreme court elections in Wisconsin are officially nonpartisan, the court is currently viewed as being controlled by a narrow 4-3 liberal majority, a result of Janet Protasiewicz’s election in 2023. With the retirement of Justice Ann Walsh Bradley, conservatives in Wisconsin see an opportunity to reclaim control of the state’s highest court in the upcoming November election.
The RSLC is backing former Wisconsin Attorney General Brad Schimel’s campaign for the open seat left by Bradley’s retirement. Schimel’s potential victory would provide conservatives in Wisconsin with a much-needed foothold in the state’s judiciary, enabling them to push back against what they see as activist rulings that favor liberal policies.
The RSLC’s new video, titled “Redraw and Erase,” comes alongside a memo directed at GOP donors, urging them to invest in conservative judicial candidates. The video argues that liberal-leaning judges are using their judicial power to distort district boundaries, benefiting Democrats and potentially reshaping the political map for years to come.
The video states, “After the November 5th election, the left is already trying to reverse the people’s will. They’ve flooded judicial elections with millions of dollars, aiming to install judges who will erase Republican districts, making it easier for Democrats to manipulate redistricting and expand their influence.”
The RSLC highlights examples from Pennsylvania, where liberal judges have already influenced the legislative map, and Wisconsin, where the state’s courts overturned fair redistricting maps, leading to a more liberal landscape. The committee stresses that these issues are not isolated but part of a concerted effort to reshape America’s political structure from the bench.
The video closes by emphasizing the importance of judicial integrity, stating, “The courts are our last line of defense. We must stand firm in protecting the values we fought for in November. That’s why the RSLC’s Judicial Fairness Initiative is fighting back, supporting judges who stand for the rule of law and respect the will of the American people.”
Since its creation, the Judicial Fairness Initiative has invested over $29 million in judicial races across the country, supporting conservative candidates and fighting to maintain a fair, impartial judiciary. With the 2025 elections fast approaching, the RSLC is preparing for a significant battle to ensure that the balance of power in these key battleground states remains in the hands of those who will uphold the rule of law and preserve the integrity of the redistricting process for years to come.
