The U.S. military received a mobilization order with dire consequences

America is not an enemy to be trifled with. And we’re on the move.

Because the U.S. military received a mobilization order with dire consequences.

Trump’s Ultimatum to Nigeria

On November 1, President Donald Trump directed the Department of War “to prepare for possible action” amid escalating violence against Christians in Nigeria, warning of severe consequences if the government fails to intervene.

“If the Nigerian Government continues to allow the k*lling of Christians, the U.S.A. will immediately stop all aid and assistance to Nigeria, and may very well go into that now disgraced country, ‘guns-a-blazing,’ to completely wipe out the Islamic Terrorists who are committing these horrible atrocities,” Trump declared in a Truth Social post at 4:43 pm.

“I am hereby instructing our Department of War to prepare for possible action,” he added. “If we attack, it will be fast, vicious, and sweet, just like the terrorist thugs attack our CHERISHED Christians! WARNING: THE NIGERIAN GOVERNMENT BETTER MOVE FAST!”

This stern alert followed Trump’s October 31 designation of Nigeria as a “country of particular concern” on Truth Social, where he highlighted the slaughter of thousands of Christians by radical Islamists and urged Rep. Riley Moore, R-W. Va., and House Appropriations Committee Chairman Rep. Tom Cole, R-Okla., “to immediately look into this matter, and report back,” as noted by CatholicVote.

Defense Chief and Nigerian Leader Respond

Department of War Secretary Pete Hegseth echoed Trump’s stance in an X statement, amplifying the call for immediate protection of Christians.

“The k*lling of innocent Christians in Nigeria — and anywhere — must end immediately,” he stated. “The Department of War is preparing for action. Either the Nigerian Government protects Christians, or we will k*ll the Islamic Terrorists who are committing these horrible atrocities.”

Hours earlier on November 1, Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu pushed back against claims of religious intolerance in an X post at 11:14 am.

“Nigeria stands firmly as a democracy governed by constitutional guarantees of religious liberty,” Tinubu asserted. “Since 2023, our administration has maintained an open and active engagement with Christian and Muslim leaders alike and continues to address security challenges which affect citizens across faiths and regions.”

“The characterisation of Nigeria as religiously intolerant does not reflect our national reality, nor does it take into consideration the consistent and sincere efforts of the government to safeguard freedom of religion and beliefs for all Nigerians,” he added. “Religious freedom and tolerance have been a core tenet of our collective identity and shall always remain so. Nigeria opposes religious persecution and does not encourage it.”

Tinubu emphasized the nation’s “constitutional guarantees to protect citizens of all faiths,” and wrapped up by noting that “Our administration is committed to working with the United States government and the international community to deepen understanding and cooperation on protection of communities of all faiths.”

Congressional Warning Amplifies Pressure

Rep. Riley Moore, a Catholic lawmaker from West Virginia, issued a direct X message to Tinubu and the Nigerian government at 6:45 pm on November 1, underscoring the urgency of halting Christian persecution.

“President Trump has provided forewarning if you do not correct the current state of inaction to stop the k*lling of our brothers and sisters in Christ in your country. The days of the US looking the other way are over — it will never happen on [the president of the United State’s] watch,” he posted. “I urge you to cooperate with us in preventing this atrocity that worsens everyday. We want your people to live in peace — all of them, especially Christians.”

Moore closed with a firm admonition: “The President has been clear. I would not test his resolve. Many have tried and all have failed. We will not allow the gates of h*ll to prevail against the faithful.”
