The crisis at the southern border has reached a tipping point. There’s nowhere for the Biden administration to hide anymore.
And now Kamala Harris might lose her job after the truth of the border crisis was unveiled.
One of the biggest failures of the Biden administration is certainly the crisis at the southern border.
Joe Biden has been in office for more than a year and a half and the reports indicate that he still hasn’t visited the southern border.
And his “border czar” Kamala Harris has dropped the ball worse than a third-string running back for a community college.
Millions of Americans want answers about what’s going on within the Biden administration considering they’ve been so incompetent thus far.
It appears we just might be getting those answers right now.
A new bombshell Politico report has indicated that some officials within the Biden admin believe Biden’s head of Customs and Border protection is uninterested in his job and blames other agencies for his failures.
They even say he doesn’t attend meetings he’s supposed to be at, and when he is at meetings, he brings up random topics unrelated to the purpose of the meeting.
Politico reports:
Five current administration officials who work with CBP Commissioner Chris Magnus portrayed him as unengaged in his job, saying he often doesn’t attend White House meetings on the situation on the border, badmouths other agencies to colleagues and superiors, and has not built relationships within CBP and across other agencies to address the influx of migrants at the border.
“He’s not in the game,” said another one of the administration officials. “Every time there’s a meeting and he’s in it, we’ll get to a conclusion and Magnus will have some sidebar issue that he wants to raise and we’re all like ‘What the f**K is that about?’”
Magnus was nominated by Joe Biden in the spring of 2021, and barely made his way to being confirmed with a razor-thin 50-47 vote.
Obviously Magnus needs to be given the boot immediately before he harms America anymore than he already has.
But ultimately, this falls on Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.
It was their decision to nominate Magnus, even though he never fit the bill for the commissioner of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection role.
With critical midterm elections right around the corder, issues like the souther border crisis will loom over the ballot box for the Democrats.
It’s one of the reasons why the GOP is expected to firmly take back the U.S. House of Representatives and may even take back the Senate as well.
It will continue to loom over the Biden administration too until the 2024 election. But Joe Biden and the Democrats won’t blink twice about using Kamala Harris as a scapegoat for this mess, though.
If Biden doesn’t run in 2024, don’t expect Harris to run in his stead. In fact, she could very well be under enough heat that Joe Biden and the Democrats need to drop her as Vice President for a 2024 run anyway.
