Sure, we know millions of poor Central and South Americans are here, but more and more we’re finding out that our enemies are exploiting the opening.
According to new Customs and Border Protection (CBP) figures, the number of migrants from Communist China crossing the border illegally has increased exponentially in the last six months compared to the start of Joe Biden’s presidency.
FOX News Chief Political Anchor Bret Baier tweeted on X (previously Twitter) Wednesday that according to this data, “Border Patrol has apprehended 24,296 Chinese nationals crossing illegally between ports of entry,” during the first six months of Fiscal Year 2024 (FY24).
“The overwhelming majority (85%) of them were single adults (20,868),” Baier elaborated.
FY24 started on October 1, 2023. As a result, the six-month period concluded on March 31, 2024.
Baier stated that the number of apprehended illegal Chinese migrants between October and the end of March “has already exceeded the TOTAL” from the 12 months of Fiscal Year 2023 (FY23), which was 24,125.
The anchor noted that Border Patrol captured only 324 Chinese migrants during Fiscal Year 2021.
In other words, between October 2023 and the end of last month, over 70 times as many illegal Chinese migrants entered the nation than between October 1, 2020 and September 30, 2021.
President Joe Biden took office a few months into FY21.
Brandon Judd, President of the National Border Patrol Council (NBPC), described the spike in migrants from Communist China as “a very scary prospect.”
“We know that China does not like us,” Judd continued. “We know that we are in the crosshairs of China. And they are exporting so many people to our country, and you have to really fear about that.”
On top of that, FOX News said that “[t]his week, a bipartisan House report found the Chinese government has given tax rebates and grants to companies that make certain fentanyl and synthetic drug precursors used by drug traffickers as long as they are sold outside of China.”
“Through subsidies, grants, and other incentives, the [People’s Republic of China (PRC)] harms Americans while enriching PRC companies,” the report from the House Select Committee on China states, as NBC News indicated Tuesday.
NBC further noted: “The committee said in its report it has ‘found no evidence of new criminal enforcement actions’ to curb the flow of fentanyl chemicals into the U.S.”
Former Trump administration Attorney General William Barr posted an op-ed in the New York Post on Wednesday, claiming that “the mass importation of Chinese fentanyl is slaughtering Americans at an annual rate equal to that of our bloodiest year in World War II.”
And Biden is just letting it happen.
