Biden receives major notice warning he might not appear on ballot in upcoming election

With the radical Left needing Joe Biden to win in November, they cannot afford any election hiccups. But this recent incident is more than just a hiccup.

Because Biden has received a major notice warning him that he might not appear on the ballot in the upcoming election.

Ohio’s Secretary of State, Frank LaRose, has issued a stark warning that President Joe Biden may not appear on the November ballot in Ohio if the Democratic National Committee (DNC) does not take immediate action to resolve a scheduling conflict.

This issue arises from Ohio state law, which requires political parties to certify their candidates with the Secretary of State at least 90 days before the election.

However, the DNC’s planned convention date leaves only 75 days before the election, creating a significant legal hurdle.

According to the Ohio Capital Journal, Ohio law mandates that political parties must certify their candidates with the Secretary of State “on or before” 90 days prior to any election.

With the 2024 presidential election scheduled for November 5, the Democratic National Convention’s planned date of August 22 falls short by 15 days, as it only allows 75 days until the election.

In a letter addressed to Ohio Democratic Party Chairwoman Liz Walters, Secretary LaRose highlighted the discrepancy and his earlier attempts to resolve it.

LaRose noted that he had sent a letter in April suggesting “two possible remedies”: either changing the date of the Democratic National Convention or seeking legislative action to create an exception to the statutory requirement.

Despite these proposed solutions, the Ohio General Assembly has shown no inclination to amend the law. “Today, the Speaker of the Ohio House told members of the media there would not be a legislative solution, as there is ‘just not the will to do that from the Legislature,'” LaRose wrote.

With the legislative route closed, LaRose emphasized the urgency of the situation. “Unless your party plans to comply with the statutory deadline, I am duty-bound to instruct boards of elections to begin preparing ballots that do not include the Democratic Party’s nominees for the president and vice president of the United States,” LaRose warned.

Ohio House Speaker Jason Stephens confirmed the lack of legislative support for a fix, stating, “There’s just not the will to do that from the legislature.”

This sentiment was echoed by Ohio House Minority Leader Allison Russo, who cited the current political climate as a significant obstacle.

“We’ve seen the dysfunction here in this place,” Russo said. “And I think we’ve seen that folks have not been able to put aside partisanship and hyper-partisanship and infighting.”

Ohio Governor Mike DeWine also weighed in, expressing confidence that a resolution would be found, either through the courts or legislative action.

“I have every confidence that it’s going to get done,” DeWine said. “No one should worry, they’re going to be able to vote for the president or the former president, whoever they want to vote for.”

Despite the legal challenges, the Biden campaign remains confident that the president will be on the ballot in all states. “Joe Biden will be on the ballot in all 50 states,” asserted Charles Lutvak, spokesperson for the Biden campaign.

“Election after election, states across the country have acted in line with the bipartisan consensus and taken the necessary steps to ensure the presidential nominees from both parties will be on the ballot.”

However, the legal reality remains that without compliance with Ohio’s certification deadline, there is a genuine risk that Biden’s name might not appear on the state’s ballot.
