The Left’s relationship with the truth is shaky at best. They rely on the media to play cover for them.
But now a top Democrat lost their mind after being asked one devastating question.
Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) reportedly snubbed journalists on Capitol Hill on Wednesday who pressed her on her now-debunked comments blaming Israel for the devastating hospital bombing in Gaza that killed hundreds of Palestinians.
Initial reports from the Hamas terrorist group and media outlets operating under its supervision claimed Israel was responsible for the hit on Gaza City’s al-Ahli Baptist Hospital.
Tlaib took to social media to denounce Israel as news of the incident spread.
“Israel just bombed the Baptist Hospital killing 500 Palestinians (doctors, children, patients) just like that,” the far-Left lawmaker wrote on X:
@POTUS this is what happens when you refuse to facilitate a ceasefire & help de-escalate. Your war and destruction only approach has opened my eyes and many Palestinian Americans and Muslims Americans like me. We will remember where you stood.

Meanwhile, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) started an inquiry into the incident and quickly established that it was caused by a Palestinian rocket launched by the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ).
Later, IDF spokesman Lt. Col. (res.) Jonathan Conricus turned to CNN to comment on Israel’s findings, which exonerated the Jewish state:
Telling @wolfblitzer that we stand by our claim, which is based on intelligence and a thorough review, that a rocket fired by the Islamic Jihad hit the Al Ahli Hospital last evening. Hamas tries to use every humanitarian event in its information warfare campaign. pic.twitter.com/jfmVgKY31N

While in Israel to show support with the Jewish state, President Joe Biden stated that Israel is not responsible for the bombing, citing Pentagon statistics.
“Based on the information we have seen today it appears the result of an errant rocket fired by a terrorist group in Gaza,” Biden added.
When questioned by Punchbowl’s Max Cohen and National Review’s John McCormack about her bogus claim against Israel, Tlaib simply ignored their inquiries and dashed into a waiting vehicle:
Tlaib wouldn’t respond just now when I asked if she had considered taking this post down, after Biden said he believes Israel didn’t bomb this hospital https://t.co/SJwBwq3Glu

I just asked @RashidaTlaib multiple times why she hasn’t deleted this tweet—and whether she has seen evidence that refutes it.
Rep. Tlaib refused to say anything as she rushed from the House floor to a car waiting to pick her up outside the Capitol building. https://t.co/HxvvgqKZyS

Isn’t that just like the Democrat Party?
Say something they don’t know is true or not but fits their narrative.
Then, when it’s proven false, either don’t address it or pretend you never said it.
