U.S. House candidate put in handcuffs for making this deadly threat against Trump

Donald Trump receives threats all the time. This one is more serious.

And a U.S. House candidate was put in handcuffs for making this deadly threat against Trump.

In a stunning turn of events, a former Marine who positioned himself as a Republican challenger for Congress in Florida now sits in federal custody.

William L. Upham, 35, of Jacksonville, faces serious charges after authorities say he crossed a dangerous line by publicly calling for violence against President Donald Trump.

This incident serves as a stark reminder of the real perils facing those who stand for American greatness.

U.S. Attorney Gregory W. Kehoe announced the arrest and charges for threatening the President of the United States.

If found guilty, Upham could spend up to five years behind bars.

The trouble erupted from a video Upham shared through an X profile that served as his campaign account.

The clip opens with familiar patriotic themes. Yet it quickly veers into something far darker.

Upham declared the nation locked in a spiritual conflict, placing Trump on the opposing side. Then came the chilling words that triggered federal action.

“There is no doubt in my mind that the president of the United States, Donald J. Trump, is the Antichrist,” he stated.

“He is a false messiah, and he is your enemy, and he must be k*lled.”

Upham then finished the video by stating that the president “will be k*lled and sent to h*ll.”

The Marine Corps responded firmly. Officials confirmed Upham received a medical discharge on May 30 of last year.

They stated his statements violated the very oath he had sworn to uphold, marking a profound betrayal of the values that define service to this nation.
