Unhinged leftist blames Democrats for Trump campaign success

Democrats are still licking their wounds from 2024. There’s a lot that went wrong for them.

And an unhinged leftist blamed Democrats for Trump’s campaign success.

In the heat of the 2024 presidential campaign, President Donald Trump unleashed a powerful message that cut through the noise and struck a chord with everyday Americans.

His ad hammered home a simple truth: Kamala Harris stood for the radical “they/them” agenda pushed by coastal elites, while Trump stood firmly for working families, border security, and common sense.

The spot resonated deeply, exposing the growing disconnect between Democrat priorities and the concerns of real people across the heartland.

Now, even a prominent Democrat is acknowledging the ad’s devastating impact. Transgender Representative Sarah McBride of Delaware opened up to the Hill about why Trump’s messaging landed so effectively, pointing directly to her party’s failures.

“In the 2024 White House race, there was an ad from the Trump campaign saying that Kamala Harris is for they/them and Donald Trump is for us. I believe it was featured in your documentary as well. It seemed to be pretty effective,” Judy Kurtz, columnist of In the Know for the Hill, pressed.

McBride didn’t shy away from the reality. She explained the ad’s success came down to two key factors that left Democrats scrambling.

“Well, I think the degree to which that ad was effective in the last election was a byproduct of two major issues,” the congressman stated.

“One was the perception that people had that Democrats were not fighting for bold, broad-based economic policy as our top priority. And the second was that we were silent in the face of the ad.”

This admission reveals a party more interested in defending fringe ideologies than delivering for American workers.

While families struggled with inflation, open borders, and cultural chaos, Democrat leaders froze when Trump highlighted their embrace of extreme gender policies.

McBride went further, noting the paralysis among top Democrats when faced with Trump’s challenge.

“I think many of our political leaders in that moment were concerned about how to respond and therefore sort of remained silent,” he said.

“I think some of the lessons learned from the 2024 cycle are that we have to be able to respond. We have to be willing to respond.”

Instead of standing up for the values most Americans hold dear—like protecting women’s sports, parental rights, and biological reality—Democrats chose silence.

That quiet spoke volumes. It confirmed what voters already suspected: the party had been captured by radical activists who prioritize gender experiments over kitchen table issues.
