The White House went up in flames after a devastating report hit Joe Biden’s desk

Democrats thought it couldn’t get any worse. But then they got smacked right upside the head.

And the White House went up in flames after a devastating report hit Joe Biden’s desk.

In a recent episode of The Daily Show, a focus group of black voters revealed a surprising split between former President Donald Trump and President Joe Biden in the upcoming presidential election.

“Who will you be voting for in 2024?” asked Daily Show correspondent Josh Johnson to the group of six voters.

Three of the focus group members expressed their support or leanings towards Trump, while the other three opted for Biden.

“Do I have to say his name? I don’t want to, but more than likely it’s going to be Trump,” one voter reluctantly admitted, with two others echoing his choice.

“We’re an even split,” Johnson noted with surprise. “I didn’t see that coming.”

Back in 2020, Biden captured an overwhelming 92% of the black vote, leaving Trump with a mere 8%. However, recent polls suggest that a significant shift of black voters toward the political Right might be on the horizon.

“Do you think there’s going to be a big shift, any sort of change?” Johnson inquired.

“I think there’s going to be a big shift,” one voter confidently responded.

“I’ve always been a Democrat, but the Democratic Party often makes promises they can’t deliver.”

The other pro-Trump voters agreed, predicting a “big shift” in November.

A woman in the group criticized the Democrats, stating they “use the issues of the African American community as a soapbox to stand on and make promises just to get us to come out and vote. And then once we vote and everyone’s in place, it’s like ‘what happened.’”

Comedian Eric Abbenate commented on X (formerly Twitter), noting the changing sentiment: “How could you vote for Trump” is quickly becoming “How could you vote for the senile guy?”

All the voters in the focus group were from New York, a state typically known for its strong Democratic leanings. Yet, a recent poll indicated that Biden’s lead over Trump in the Empire State is only by single digits.

According to a Siena College poll, Trump is receiving an unprecedented 29% support from black New Yorkers, a substantial increase from the 6% he garnered in 2020.

In a Chicago Sun Times op-ed, community organizer David Cherry warned that Biden’s party is at risk of losing significant support from black voters like himself. Cherry, identifying as “neither a Democrat nor a Republican,” wrote:

“The Democrats are severely underestimating the anger that is being expressed by the people who have been their most loyal voters and who feel locked out, left behind, and abandoned. At exactly the time we need more debate, more competition and more ideas about how we can develop solutions and move forward as a nation, the Democratic Party’s message to Black voters in 2024 is that you have to vote for Biden.”

Some analysts believe Trump could secure more than 20% of the black vote in November, a feat last achieved by a Republican presidential nominee in 1960 with Richard Nixon.
