The Biden administration never saw this mistake blowing up in their faces. And it’s got devastating consequences.
Because two arrests are causing total mayhem in Washington, D.C.
Questions have been raised about the state of national security under the direction of the Biden administration ever since the Chinese spy balloon was discovered gathering intel for the Chinese communists as it hovered over American airspace.
The Chinese said that the balloon simply veered off course, but federal government officials have questioned the validity of that claim.
Ever since then, Americans have been concerned that the state of security in America is compromised under the “leadership” of President Biden.
Now those concerns are only going to grow after the latest news of arrests coming from Washington, D.C.
Two Navy sailors were arrested last week by federal officials after they were suspected of being spies for the Chinese communists.
The Department of Justice announced on Thursday last week that the two Navy soliders were arrested for “betraying the public trust” for the “benefit of the PRC government.”
“These individuals stand accused of violating the commitments they made to protect the United States and betraying the public trust, to the benefit of the PRC government,” the Department of Justice statement reads.
House Representative Mike Gallagher (R-WI) is raising the alarm bells on this and calling for both Congress and the White House to address this immediately.
Gallagher appeared on Fox News to discuss the issue and said that there’s “no doubt” that China is trying to steal American intel.
“It could be incredibly damaging, particularly as the risk of conflict with China over Taiwan — a potential PLA [People’s Liberation Army] invasion of Taiwan increases — there’s no doubt they’re trying to do everything that they can to steal sensitive information and then weaponize that against us,” the Wisconsin U.S. Representative said.
He called on everyone to bring attention to this issue because, in his opinion, the growing issue of Chinese aggression has been ignored for the past twenty years or so.
“We need to raise awareness and make sure we’re guarding against this…It’s fair to say that we let our guard down: really for the last two decades. We got complacent. Slowly, far too slowly, we woke up to the threat posed by the Chinese Communist Party.”
“Everyone knows the KGB from the old Cold War, but very few Americas are aware of the MSS— the Ministry of State Security in China…
It’s far larger than the @CIA.
It’s operating widely within the United States.” — Chairman @RepGallagher pic.twitter.com/BlsYK8poXg

Gallagher, in particularly, has been trying to bring more attention to the issue of national security as it relates to the Chinese government’s attempts to spy on America.
Earlier this year, Gallagher had sent a letter directly to the director of the FBI, Christopher Wray, over the concern of illegal PRC operations invading a New York City law enforcement agency.
This news of arrests of possible spies for the Chinese comes just days before it would be discovered that the Chinese and the Russians are patroling Alaskan waters with naval vessels.
In response to that news, the U.S. has sent four Naval destroyers, but the Biden administration continues to be hush about the Chinese government as a whole.
They insist that there is no threat that the Chinese presents to the United States at this time.
