President Biden thought he could pull a fast one. But he’s been called out.
Because a GOP operative just went on CNN to pull the curtains back and make this big Biden confession.
Recently, President Joe Biden has been facing criticism for his executive order paving the way for amnesty to be offered up to countless illegal immigrants who are staying here in the United States, even if their claim to staying within the country is invalid.
There’s been questions about what the purpose of the amnesty order is if it’s unlikely to land with the average American. What is the true motive behind the amnesty effort that is certain to also bring legal challenges regarding its constitutionality?
Well, one Republican Party advisor and political strategist thinks he knows what the purpose of the amnesty order is. It’s more devious than you may have initially thought.
GOP Operative Breaks Down Biden Amnesty Move
On Wednesday, a Republican strategist criticized President Joe Biden’s recent proposal aimed at allowing certain undocumented immigrants married to American citizens to remain in the country, describing it as a desperate move. He used the words “Hail Mary” to describe the amnesty order.
President Biden issued an executive order on Tuesday, granting work permits and a path to legal status for undocumented immigrants married to U.S. citizens. This initiative, according to Bryan Lanza, a former campaign aide to ex-President Donald Trump, is unlikely to reverse Biden’s declining support among Hispanic voters.
“He’s struggling with immigration issues and losing ground with Latino voters. This proposal is a desperate attempt to regain their support,” Lanza commented on CNN This Morning with guest host Mau Raju. “Over the past three years, Biden’s economic policies have failed Latino communities, especially working-class and middle-class Latinos. He needs a game-changer, and this is his attempt.”
Lanza continued, expressing skepticism about the proposal’s effectiveness. “I don’t think it will be enough. Latino voters have already judged Biden’s economic impact, and it’s not favorable. For nearly 36 months, he hasn’t addressed inflation effectively. He hasn’t provided the economic support they need.”

In a segment on June 10, CNN data reporter Harry Enten highlighted how Biden’s eroding support among Hispanic voters could tilt key states like Arizona and Nevada in favor of Trump.
“We’ll see if this strategy works, but I doubt it,” Lanza told Raju. “Offering amnesty at this moment is unlikely to succeed, especially since many view Biden as having exacerbated the immigration issue by reversing 94 of Trump’s executive orders. It’s hard to trust the person who, in their eyes, ignited the problem to also solve it.”
According to United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Border Patrol recorded 1.6 million encounters with undocumented immigrants in fiscal year 2021, 2.2 million in fiscal year 2022, and 2 million in fiscal year 2023. So far, fiscal year 2024 has seen 1.1 million encounters.
It’s no secret that Joe Biden is seriously struggling in the polls and with his overall approval ratings with little more than four months before the 2024 election arrives.
All the election betting outlets, which are actually fairly good indicators of what the American people are feeling because people literally have to put their money where their mouth is, are saying Trump is up on Biden by quite a good margin.
The amnesty effort might be an acknowledgement that Joe Biden has to do something drastic to change the narrative before the time rolls around for Americans to head to the ballot box.
Whether it will work remains to be seen. It’s not popular even with much of the old-school Democrat voting base which seems to be getting siphoned off by the Donald Trump campaign who is courting that “old school liberal” voting base.
To be honest, it’s unlikely Joe Biden is the one to come up with this amnesty idea anyway. It’s likely a top-down Democrat establishment move to turn things around fast.
