The National Guard was seen committing this treasonous act at the southern border

The border with Mexico is a mess. Now our own soldiers are turning on us.

And the National Guard was seen committing this treasonous act at the southern border.

The enemies are at the gates.

Thousands upon thousands of illegal immigrants are crossing our border every day.

Some are even assaulting the National Guard:

You would think after being attacked, that those in the National Guard would strengthen their resolve to keep the illegal immigrants out of this country.

Maybe some do, but one decided to betray their country instead.

A dramatic video showed the moment a Texas National Guardsman was apprehended after allegedly smuggling an illegal immigrant to the southern border and leading police on a high-speed chase in his government-issued SUV.

Specialist Savion Amari Donovan Johnson, 26, is seen being pulled out of the truck by Texas Department of Public Safety officers and Kinney County sheriff’s deputies.

He was caught Sunday near Bracketville following the chase, which reached speeds of over 100 mph, and charged with evading arrest, smuggling, and unauthorized carry of a weapon.

The military was sent to the Eagle Pass crossing as part of Gov. Greg Abbott’s Operation Lone Star State, according to NewsNation Now.

According to Kinney County Sheriff Brad Coe, Johnson turned around as he approached a Border Patrol checkpoint off Highway 674 and officials attempted to stop him.

Texas DPS police then utilized spike strips to bring the SUV to a stop. The illegal immigrant leaped out and fled before turning himself in and being processed by Border Patrol, according to the outlet.

According to sources, the armed suspect was promised $5,000 to $6,000 in exchange for conveying the undocumented person.

“We don’t know what’s going on in their lives to make them do this,” Coe told the outlet. “But they’re going to get caught.”

“If the allegations are true, the accused is a traitor and criminal,” a spokesman for Abbott told Fox News in a statement.

“We have zero tolerance for Texans who violate laws that directly contradict the mission we are seeking to achieve. The accused’s illegal smuggling may subject him to a mandatory minimum prison sentence of at least 10 years. He deserves more,” he added.

Abbott has expanded resources as part of Operation Lone Star, an effort to safeguard the southern border, citing a lack of leadership from the federal government.
